Glad that Grigor got it done in straights! A bit concerning he was grimacing and looked exhausted. He even said he had 5 days to adapt to the clay and was jet lag until not long ago. Not sure if he will have much fuel in the tank for a deep run here but fingers crossed he has a good rest tomorrow and is ready on Wednesday.

As a Roger Federer aficionado, I have delivered a huge support to Grigor Dimitrov. The consistency, desire and dedication of Bulgarian tennis competitor were at the foreground in order to demonstrate an unfaltering performance. It was really an immaculate game from Dimitrov. Gregor plays lot of tournaments even makes it deep but somehow ends up losing to Daniil or Carols or Sinner.. he was at the receiving end when Big 4 where at their prime... should have won more ATP and at least a few grand slams... he has been on fire lately..hope he goes out with a bang ... in next few years... great guy and good sport

Grigor's shots look like Federer. But if you look closely, you see that he is very defensive compared to Federer. This type of tennis is not effective Against top seeds!
