A thoughtful interview. I really like that he plays only what he is passionate about at the time and it shows. Despite being a consummate professional he is still an amateur in the true sense of the word--the lover of music. It explains why he disliked competitions. Я большой поклонник Григория Соколова, и это интервью поучительно. Его требования к миру и к искусству в целом столь же остры, как и его требования к самому себе. Я согласен с ним по многим вопросам в том числе и по поводу конкурсов. Это полная ерунда не имеющая никакого отношения к музыке и искусству. Я также согласен с ним в том что понятие школы гораздо менее важно чем творческая индивидуальность, откуда бы она ни исходила. Действительно, разница между "аккумулятором идей" и "генератором идей" очевидна. НО! Он глубоко ошибается (или, может быть, я неправильно понял, что он имел в виду?), когда говорит что современник великой художественной личности - скажем, Рембрандта - (поскольку он сам использует этот пример) заслуживает только термина "суперремесленник", и поэтому не может быть низведен до статуса настоящего художника. Это абсолютная ересь, потому что тогда придется заново определять понятие "художник", а абсолютного и единогласно принятого определения, к сожалению, никто дать не может. Если бы это было так то стены музеев по всему миру были бы вдвое пуще. Как и концертные программы, ведь наряду с историческими личностями неизбежно существуют и другие, пусть даже в тени, но создавшие как минимум один шедевр. В общем смысле термин "ремесленник" относится к человеку, профессию которого легко спутать с профессией другого ремесленника в той же области. В эту категорию входит множество профессий, таких как сапожник, водопроводчик, плотник, столяр и т.д....... То же самое можно сказать и о "маленьких руках", как мы называем команды людей, работающих в швейных цехах великих модельеров (ready-to-wear, haute couture). И, наконец,.... (простите, что приходится констатировать этот совершенно очевидный, но запретный факт) профессия исполнителя классической музыки также является разновидностью ремесла. Это связано с ее специфической природой. На протяжении десятилетий мир классической музыки, публика, критика, специализированные журналы жили и дышали только исполнителями. То есть за счет возведения на вершину музыкантов, какими бы фантастическими ни были некоторые из них (включая, конечно, Григория Соколова), которые не узнаваемы на слух 90% людей (профессионалов в том числе), если им предъявить "слепую" версию такого-то и такого-то произведения. Это факт, который когда-нибудь должен быть исследован с социологической точки зрения. Современник Вермеера, скажем, Якобус Врель или Фабрициус, да и другие все "мастера" или "современники" остаются узнаваемыми, даже если их имена убраны с картины, в гораздо большей степени, чем версии Нельсона Фрейре, Николая Луганского или Киссина. Но я думаю, что здравый смысл придет к тому, чтобы принять эту реальность. Не умаляя при этом достоинств той или иной дисциплины.
