You’re so right about mint! For years I omitted mint from any Mediterranean or Middle Eastern recipe I made because it just seemed odd to pair it with more savory herbs. But I finally included it in my tabbouleh about 20 years ago and have never skipped over it in any recipe since! Also, you can use that cucumber juice to make a delicious cucumber-lime-basil gimlet to sip while cooking your burger. 😉

YUM! Have you tried putting fresh mushrooms in the food processor & pulverize them, then add to the turkey mixture? You can't taste the mushrooms...but it keeps them moist.

I can't eat beef or pork, so I'm always looking for good, simple turkey or chicken burger recipes! I have to say I've made probably close to 20 of your recipes at this point and they are always top notch. I've even been able to cook meats for my family with your recipes that I can't eat, which they have been very appreciative of (it's hard when you can't taste something yourself). So something like this that I would normally make just for myself, but I could make for the whole family is super awesome.

How come, with all that delicious food you seem to cook and probably eat every day, you stay that slim? Not fair I say.

I think he's fairly tall and likely pretty active. My guess is his maintenance calorie burn is pretty close to 3000 a day, that can afford you quite a bit of food
