Yes you can it’ll function the same as the original. The only thing is, if the coil at the bottom is lit, you’ll likely burn thru the charcoal pretty quickly in the beginning.

Not really liking mine, thermometer is way off on digital digital read out. So the automation is a bit useless. Coulda saved the space with the non connected one.

Mmmm good video but you just have done something wrong to get it started. I have it too and I’m cocking at 500 or more in 15m. It is crazy fast. That’s the one thing I love about the grill.

Maybe so but it fires ok now. I think it needed to restart. It is fast compared to other digital grills out there and I do really enjoy it
