45:35 yes its slightly more for the gold but you do the alloy cause it spreads the gold out more so when you mix the 3 gold with the other ore you basically have 4 ore to play with so for example say you can make 2 weapons with the 3 gold but alloying it allows you to make an extra weapon so ya, you lose a couple hundred on the 2 weapons but make another 5k on the extra weapon you can now make with the extra....

A tip I haven't seen mentioned yet. When you are pouring into the mold, if you aim your cursor at the segment you want to fill, it will pour into that segment. Same with throwing things. The game will try it's best to go to the cursor. Don't stress about trying to figure out where to stand when pouring. Just aim where you want it to go. I stand right up and just aim downwards and have no issue

I love this game. Designing swords was something my sister and I did when we were kids (I like to write fantasy, so I’m still interested in it now), and so just watching these swords and daggers get made makes me happy. Lol. It’s awesome how much money you’ve gotten for them so far, and I really like the designs you’ve made, too. 😊

when melting ore. icon shows up on the left to show when liquid (the bucket with fire symbol). getting the metal too hot where it stays liquid for extended time reduces quality.

i wish stats and quality had more of an impact on the game. it's also frustrating that your weapon stats don't affect the price. made a sword that does like 300 damage and it sells for 2k. make a spear that does 100 damage and it sells for 10k. - also, for the soft metals that hammer too quickly, do a couple taps along the whole blade while its hot and then do a second pass when its cooler to dial it in.

Can’t you pour the extra melted ore into the clay to make an ingot? It looks like there’s a default ingot mold prior to shaping the clay or if you clear off the weapon design. If not is it possible to remelt already cast parts?

it's not possible to re-melt casted parts. that would be awesome for a future update to be able to save your cast off metal.

You have to pay attention to pierce race and cut rate. The guy in the beginning of the video needed 40% weapon damage. You'll get more money the higher the damage is.

here's a tip on how to make better weapons When making weapons, hammer the metal to 96 or 97%. Getting to 99% on every part isn’t necessary. Don’t melt your ores for too long. Check the quality on the bucket and remove it from heat before it stays hot too long. To keep quality high, melt two ores, make your first blade and handles, then drop them. Pour the rest of the metal in the cast to save quality. Buy the lathe from the tool shop. It lets you make nice handles and reduces handle weight. This makes the weapon cost more and look better. To improve blade quality, you have to quench it in a water barrel. Buy a water barrel from the tool store for 1000 GP. It’s worth the price. After making the blade on the anvil, hold it in the water for 1 second, take it out, then put it back in for 1 second. Then let it cool. The quality is shown on the bottom of the screen. When putting the sword together, get it to about 90% complete. Then do a bigger swing at the end to finish it. This helps the final quality.
