About time. I was waiting for spears to act like spears since GD came out, rather than, you know, them acting like every other 2 handed weapon, that is, like a club or something. Will there be spear + shield combo animations in the expansion too? My inner Warden (Hunter + Defender) is anxious.

i really think they should make grim dawn 2 instead of improving what exist now, game too old to ever look good anyway, feels kina poinless to me, how ever... fun to see taht they still care.

I do not think so. Grim dawn is a very current, beautiful and enjoyable game. Not everything that is "new" is good...there are plenty of examples in the gaming industry. Anyone who evaluates the game based on its graphics is acting superficially.

the game is good, just making another one for graphics only is stupid. They can take their time with GD2, cuz half baked new game won't do it.

I vastly prefer the model of continuing to support an existing game. When players want more of something, the best solution is to simply give them more of it, instead of making them wait longer for a sequel that may be lacking, or push people away with higher system requirements.

To counter your argument about GD2 - look at Europa Universalis IV. Its been around and updated for 11 years now. Updates and DLCs are keeping it alive, and while Paradox is working on EUV (supposedly... havent been following it recently), they still support the "old" game. What more does it need? Its polished, more or less free of bugs, with constant features being added over time with most every patch. Well worth whatever the cost of it is, given the time it was/is supported for. What will GD2 bring to the table? Better graphics? Do we care about those? Graphics were crucial in the 90s, as back then the technological progress was so quick, that a difference between one game and the next was a 2d world vs 3d world, except... 3d graphics need to be constantly updated, which costs the dev a lot of money, while 2d graphics can be timeless (look at all pixelart games - they still hold up after decades). Hell, i still play Transport Tycoon today, and that ones been released back in 1994. Graphics... pfft.
