Grim - Most Legendary Gank of All Time

The legendary Thunderfury Gank. I believe this was the first Thunderfury created on Al'Akir (the largest EU server in early WoW) and word had got out amongst the alliance that Exerox (the warrior who got it) and his guild were going to kill Thunderan and get the server first TF weapon. They didn't count on myself and a few other rogues finding out so we headed down to Silithlus with the aim of having a bit of fun ;D
Some facts behind this video, obviously the rogue perspective is me, however the alliance perspect is Zalgradis (famous paladin from Al'Akir) as he was just generally recording Exerox dueling - it was in no way set up, the voices you can hear are many of the alliance in Ventrillo with Zalgradis laughing as Exerox gets ganked out of nowhere ;D

I think this was somewhere around october 2005. My char is somewhere on a horse in this crowd and Grim just killed my Main tank, good times. Zal and exerox still play wow a little bird told me. ^^ good times thanks Grim

The game was a lot less figured out and stuff that is considered very standard today was ground breaking back in the vanilla days. I remember being super impressed by the Beckon movies (PvPriest series) and went back to watch them again for nostalgia and noticed a ton of backpeddling, skill clicking and keyboard turning that I never would've reacted to back in the days.

Only bad part is that he didnt vanish before the Hunters Mark, which back then, with no cloak of shadows, meant you werent getting away and restealthing. This means he almost certainly died after the clip. Still cool, tho.

Just like how some of the best Street Fighter 2 players in 1991-1993 wouldn't be as good today. They were the first, figuring things out and learning for the future. Same can be said for anything over time. Some albums that came out 20-40 years ago which were awesome may have aged horrible just like specific movies, shows, songs, games etc. Not every Nintendo NES game holds up today but in 1985 compared to Atari 2600 to a kid's eye it's amazing. Some top tier Starcraft 1 players in the late 90's didn't do as well in Starcraft 2. Things change. I'm not the same person I was 20 years ago and I hope you aren't either. Just how a lot of Sepultura fans hate stuff post Max or post Arise.

Im not saying the guy is a bad player, he is better then average to me but theres many good rogues that got no attention and they are better. See Mido 2 and 3... All clips are better then the best of this guy.

Entertainment over technical skill. Slash is nowhere near a great guitar player but his top hat and attitude combined with his decent guitar skills make him rise about the most boring bland technical by the book players. Charisma, personality and entertainment add to it. Why people love The Rock or Stone Cold in wrestling when we had much better wrestlers technical wise during that era.
