lol that was great! It was nice to hear Cap really enjoying himself. For those of us getting on in years (40+) we can relate to experiencing that feeling of joylessness, where the responsibilities and ills of the world really get you down and you just don't feel like you have any fun like you used too. The thrill of living seems to have worn off. Those moments where you feel that youthful joy again are precious. I'm happy to see anyone get that feeling again. Also, I suggested the B-1 guns only dogfight! I probably wasn't the only one but still, it was awesome to see it happen finally.

Hehehe, this reminds me of a tank simulator we built back in the early/mid-'90s using some high-end SGI workstations - we messed up a config file for the sim, such that it couldn't find the right model for the gun projectile, so it defaulted to the first model in its list which was an M1A1 tank. We all started giggling uncontrollably the first time we tried firing the gun and saw an entire _tank_ come flying out the muzzle at sabot round speeds. We quickly dubbed it our "rapid deployment" option! 🤣🤣🤣

The first time I tried edibles was a shit show. We were going to Halloween costume party and I didn't want to wait for the others so I opened them up got a head start. When my GF came in, she saw the package was opened and asked how many I ate. I told her. Her eyes got wide and she just stared at me. I was like "what?" She said I was supposed to only eat one, maybe two if you were really used to them. Not eight. In an hour I was crystalized. I never been so high in my life. I just sat there on the couch, a stoned cold idiot dressed like Freddy Kruger. I couldn't walk, talk, think, eat, or any other activity that would claim I was alive. It was horrible. 6 hours later I started to come out of it.

In Michigan edibles are limited to 200mg THC per package so it's almost a waste of money. I had 4 bags of gummies for 800mg total and all I felt was a moderate head buzz. Hah, this upload has really reminded me of VideoGamsCanada and the shenanigans they were doing reviewing chaotic mods over a decade ago on KZbin. Mach 23 is roughly the orbital speed of the International Space Station (~17,000 mph). Space vehicles travelling to the moon travel at Mach 33ish (25,000mph). At the speeds your travelling in the SR-72 (Mach 700/537,088mph), you'd quickly break away from Earth's gravity and head into straight into space. At that speed, you'd actually make it to the moon in a half hour! And if my math is right, an full orbit of the Earth would only take about 3 minutes. This may account for some of the handling problems your experiencing as you try to keep the plane going around the Earth's curvature and in the atmosphere. DCS can't make sense of speeds that high. Congrats to Cap on handling "Plaid" speed as long as he did! :)

The drunken missiles remind me of the dogfights in Robotech/Macross. Clouds of missiles flying in all driections, bobbing and weaving like mad, then eventually hitting something like they meant it to happen. Explaining to your CO why you got shot down with a whale would be orca-ward. Backwards Wales? That's Cornwall isn't it? Shot down with a cow is just a bunch of bull. I'd like to see you try the B-1/GAU-8 hunt an armoured column and sprinkle it with some CBUs on the way out.
