Grimcoven is a miniature board game boss battler for 1-4 players set in a dark Victorian universe, where only hunt matters. Within tactical gameplay, you will take up the role of a hunter fueled by Lament (sign Grimcoven with your fellow hunters) and go on a modular boss battle. During the combat, strategically use dice allocation to move around the board, fire up different combos, and gather Lament to grow in strength. Build your character in roguelike fashion and try to claim the ultimate prize!

Thanks, love the look, love the art. Great work, AR ... I would back it, but at home I have Kingdom Death : Monster, which I love so much for all that it brings with. With the Gamblers Chest for me it's the perfect boss battler with this three unique phases. Only fight a boss is for me not enough ...

Once they’re all together for a scenario they look very nice. Even in prototype form. Remember this is an ‘early prototype’ in terms of what the final product will look like. So feedback will be taken by AR from here and during the campaign as well. They keep their ear to the ground. 🙂

In my opinion, the print is too dark. You're sitting in a very bright studio, the artwork on the cards seems very dark. I can imagine what it would be like to play in my room without that kind of lighting. I think artists these days need to remember that their undoubtedly beautiful artwork doesn't shine on paper the way it does on screen. Illustrations need to be less black.

To be honest, the prototype looks very UNDERDEVELOPED, seems like it was scrapped together just for the campaign. The miniatures are great, but I can hardly see a game through the ai generated art.
