Please don't rush the introductions, there are plenty of battle report options for people who are only interested in that, the "how does this army play" is invaluable to new comers, myself and I'm sure plenty of other people.
@Miam_miam_la_gauffre9 ай бұрын
100%, the battle report part is secondary since there is so many of them, in depth analysis of each faction is totally what would be interesting imo. There isn't much of that out there
@jtjames7910 ай бұрын
If you do timestamps you can ignore people complaining. I like the long intros. Gives me a reason to care about the factions.
@gerardnesper181610 ай бұрын
I also like the long Intros 😊

I agree. I like intros. But i also love timestamps as i am not always in the mood for intros. I am a fickle person.😂

Also... Im here for the first part where you teach me what to look for and how to use them. Im really bad at knowing how to use my army list. Dont feel like these first bits are a waste. They are my main course haha
@FiveFootFall10 ай бұрын
Agreed. The introduction and the battle report are the best parts.
@mandonz10 ай бұрын
I agree with many of the other comments here, I liked the longer intro and breakdown; I can find batreps anytime. Given this is a "how to play" I don't think you should rush the first half. It was less insightful and you made a couple of mistakes due to feeling rushed - take your time, we are here for your analysis so don't feel pressured to expedite yourself! I think timestamps is an excellent compromise, no need to go overboard but just one for the army list/battle introduction should satisfy those who want to skip to dice-chucking glory. Cheers!

I am too much of a rookie to figure out left from right and I hope I am not alone here (lots of people long in the tooth in the tabletop playing community, but OPR is sold by many as the “40K is too beginner-unfriendly, choose this one” option), I appreciate the thoroughness of your previous videos when it comes to discuss each army and the many methods they have to bring mayhem, please keep on doing them like that.

I've been waiting for your Blessed Sisters video and you did not disappoint! As a new player (only played once so far), the intro info is infinitely valuable. To address the "long intro" comment, I have some suggestions for you, Warboss: Timestamps to each section would help. And that there's no reason to tell us what each unit CAN do/upgrade, just what each unit is good/poor at, with suggestions on upgrades. I can read the army book and see that info, I'm watching your videos for your opinions on what to take and how to use them. Thank you very much for your videos, you and them are assets to this game!

Only just got to this and while I love the space dinosaur men, I do have a soft spot for the Blessed Sisters. Thanks for this great post and very enjoyable Batt Rep. Will be on the look out for more from ya...
@WarbossFitz5 ай бұрын
Once I give all the armies a go round the sisters will be the first for round 2 with a total separate army list. That way I can do the intro unit parts justice.
@nathangerardy266910 ай бұрын
Thank you for your work on these videos. I tend to watch both parts, but a single timestamp for the Battle Report for those that just want to see that can skip ahead would solve any issues. I don't feel you need to rush the army section.

Your right. I have recorded the next video and I take my time with it. I just have to figure out how time stamps work.

I really need to play more games by myself. I've been trying to get some of my co-workers into 40k or grimdark future but they seem to like video games more. I did print out 2 combat patrols for them. Hopefully after Christmas and the new year we can play.

I find there isn’t much on youtube discussing how to play the factions (general strengths, weaknesses, good builds and tactics). I’d love to get your view on that sort of stuff.
@WarbossFitz6 ай бұрын
I'm going through an army a week and will circle back around to the sisters. Probably very soon because this video is getting tons of traction all of a sudden.
@buttemountain4 ай бұрын
I’m going to be honest. I like most of the model designs that OPR has come up with but the Blessed Sisters is the only army that I think looks better than its GW equivalent. I may end up with at least a few, even if I never play the faction.
@FiveFootFall10 ай бұрын
On another note i gotta agree One Page Rules is a lot of fun! Warhammer gets the imagination going but the game itself is quite disappointing. The simplicity of the OPR rules is refreshing, but the best part is the alternating activations keeping both players active and invested. Good call on the progressive objectives, the all-or-nothing end of game objectives can feel a bit swingy.
@WarbossFitz10 ай бұрын
I watched an interview with Andy Chambers recently on 2nd and 3rd edition 40k. He said that alternating activations were going to be in 3rd edition but he fought against it. Now he regrets doing it and the game would have been better for it

You just got yourself a sub! I love that you cover OPR, do you have any plans to make a vid like that about War Brothers?
@WarbossFitz9 ай бұрын
They are planned on the future. The way we choose what army is next is I put up a poll of 4 different armies and the community votes on what they want to see.

Man I wanted the OPR sisters to be so much better looking. They are just a little too flufffy looking for my taste.
