"These Dark Eldar seem somewhat malevolent." -Captain Understatement

"This topic doesn't do well on my channel". I don't play any of the tabletop games, and in fact my first exposure to anything Warhammer was the release of the MMO... but I am so obsessed with all the lore from 40K and from fantasy that I'll listen to any topic. I have several of GDN's playlists saved in case I want to listen when I go to bed. I guess my overly strong love of the stuff won't allow me to see that other people might have favorite topics.

I've been wanting to make a force of Nurgle-corrupted Drukhari for some time and I think a Nurglite Talos Pain Engine (or Plague Engine in this case) would be really cool to see as a model

This video induced a lot of expletives to surface to the forefront of my conscious mind as I watched it. Rather, it was the video's subject that unexpectedly so affected me. The Narrator's presentation is as refined as ever. Feelings literally engineered into physical manifestation. How...emotionally affecting, ironically. Fascinating possibilities. The Chronos takes its award for ringleader of this horror circus that's most terrifyingly impressive. Negative energy weaponry are enough to cause retreat at their mere mention and second perhaps only to the Necrons' chronal and otherwise energy tech. Combined with such a time parasite actually feeding and reinvogorating the dark eldar... Warhammer's entire race of Cenobites, turned up to Spinal Tap “eleven”. I think whomever it is at Black Library have actually outdone Clive Barker's imagination in regard to Pinhead and company at least (the Books of Blood remain ever-awesome) in their prime-excellent conceptualization of the horror and terror the Drukhari have made themselves. Thank you once again, GDN host with the most and may your next week be enjoyable and free of machines of torment. Isha's blessings protect you from these incredible nightmare machines.

HOLY SHIT A XENOS VID. Hey they might not do well but they are cool. I love em. Shall always like and try to comment I love the idea of the Pain Engines. My first experience was the Talos in DoW SoulStorm. I had no clue there were more! Gives me a lot of Homebrew ideas

Pinhead and his mates Aprove ❤️ GW better not soften their lore. Even though Da Orks can, and will smash em to bits. But they are still amusing non the less.
@MrOortCloud11 ай бұрын
I always wonder why nobody hasn't just gotten rid of the Dark Eldar in lore. Obviously it's easy to see why GW would want to keep around one of their popular intellectual properties. That said, if a race millions of years older than ours decided to suddenly hyper-torture everything they could get their hands on, that the galaxy would have risen up to destroy them ages ago. I mean a resurgent humanity after the fall of the Eldar at the height of their power could probably have done so quite easily and we know humanity has known about them since before Old Night. Nocturne had legends about them centuries old and it was a far flung human colony, I find it hard to believe the men of iron or some other powerful race didn't just massacre them all. Uber mega hyper torture is kind of a problem lol. I mean the Necrons could just invade via the Dolman Gates and wipe them out with very little issue. They'd put up a decent fight but all their tactics revolve around the consumption of soul juice that Necrons don't have, nor do they feel pain really. Hell, the other Aeldari are just as bad by extension for not wiping out their, "cousins" too. If I had a cousin that was raping and murdering and torturing shit all the time I'd probably put the poor animal out of it's misery you know?

The wife listens also when I play these and she made a good point. Why don't you state what faction is behind the thing your talking about at the beginning so people that don't know the lore has an idea from the start what your talking about. I don't care but it may help new people.
@GrimDarkNarrator11 ай бұрын
I do, in fact, mention the faction at the beginning of most videos. It's also in the title. Sorry if I somehow didn't say it in this video, but the whole point of me making an intro to each video is to say a few words about what I'm talking about in the video.
