So what ive gathered is that Nurgle is pretty much the only Chaos God who is.....actually a nice guy? Granted he's downright horrific in his methods but one could say, ironically enough, he truly does have only the purest of intentions.

Nurgle learned and accepted his diseases long ago? Does that mean that potentially we have a stronger version of Nurgle that infected the chaos God? Or does that mean he wants tried to deny his own nature? That would actually be pretty interesting to see but we're not going into origins of the chaos gods in that kind of detail.

Oh dearie me, how did I not have this video liked and favorited already? Let’s fix that, shall we? :) In any case, I came back to this video because it has...I guess “sentimental value” you might say. I didn’t get into 40k lore until several months ago, and in my quest to learn more about this fascinating universe, I eventually started trying to find lore videos to “get caught up” as it were. But when I started looking through the videos available on chaos, none of them were very detailed (by my obsessive standards, anyways) and most were only a few minutes long...and then I came across this little gem. You did an excellent job of explaining not just what Nurgle is and what he represents, but even managed to get across why such an outwardly loathsome being is so beloved by his followers. I’m more of an Imperial fanboy myself, but if I were ever to change allegiances, well...let’s just say I’d be happy to give jolly old Grandpa Nurgle a hug. And that’s pretty much all thanks to you and this video, so thank you!

so nurgle is the god of disease? ...does he only do disease or does he also do things like: acid poisons radiation etc?

The weapons his minions employ definitely use all of those, poisons most prominently.

everything to do with decay and entropy so yes to all those things its just he prefers diseases and poisons as he brews the posions himself and diseases spread his influence faster then anything else but they fail agasint a naturally evolved bio predator like the tyranids as they can resist warp corruption much of nurgles warp born diseases and posions are greatly weakend

That's an interesting one. Since the borg have no individual identities and only one hive mind connected to a computer, I think it might not be so easy for Nurgle to corrupt anyone. At least not spiritually. There's also the physical abilities of nurglites to literally bring decay onto things so maybe the cubes will rust and become impotent :D

So it seems odd to me that nurgle, or at least his philosophy, sanctifies root in particular. which seems like an arbitrary part of the cycle they focus on more than others rather than a wholistic sanctification of eternity. it seems nurgle is more obsessed with endings then anyone else.

GrimDark Narrator Sure. Your speech is pretty fluent. The way you pronounce it makes it sound like a different word. Puss is an old slang term for face. Or a cat. Also sometimes the word pussy is shortened to puss. So it was hard to not mention it. When I studied french I liked to know things like that.

I created a 'home brewed' group of Plague Marines that were originally Emperors Children,who in their quest of experiencing the most discomforting & painful lustful desires would purposefully catch every form of sexually transmitted disease the galaxy & warp could provide (with every possible races and warp beings as well,willing or not) to 'savor' each and every diseases particularities until one caught a rather "special" S.T.D. on corrupted pleasure planet "Coitus IV" courtesy of Papa Nurgle. Now these once proud Emperor's Children have found a new path to perfection,adding their former knowledge & skills to the newly bestowed dank blessings to advance the fecid plans of the Father of Rot,Nugle under the proudly proclaimed name of "The Proud Pustulents"
