@@sleepaudiobooks nice! We actually had a school issue version of Grimm’s back in the mid 70s that was pretty authentic and to the point. I was kind of weened on those stories…There’s some dark stuff. I was that kid that, at 11 or 12, was reading HG Wells, RL Stevenson, ER Burroughs and HP Lovecraft to name a few.

We have quite a few myths and fairy tales. As for specific videos, we only have Greek and Korean at the moment. However there are different stories mixed in with the generalized myth audiobooks.

Wow the Golden Bird... That one was a first for me. Was the point of the story that doing the right thing is often painful but equally rewarding? So how do we Disney this one...? Here's my idea of something more but also the same. Ole Fox= Main antagonist; but one meant to be redeemed not beaten. He had paid for his trechory already having been turned into a Fox for years. In the end for the good deeds he helped bring about by helping Kuro OPP frees him of the curse and grants him a few boons to help settle things with some Evil people that conquered a peaceful nation. So he met his his true love the dragon Quinlynn. She was changed into a dragon because that was what she chose to be and was an assistant to OPP for years and so he rewarded her with that wish. After becoming a dragon she found the man of her dreams. The child of his first daughter was actually saying Quins child not Foxy Princesses. So the happily ever after can happen still. 1st Son= Rat Mewling. Big dumb brute built like an Ogre and Stronger than 3 Oxen. He's been using Leche the entire time. He even suggested the power thing so he could off the hero whose tales might have swayed the people from accepting the new rule of the land. Seeing that Kuro somehow survived going down a 200+ft cliff into gravel Made him reconsider his position on believing his own BS. Whats more he was not alone. OPP and some weird knight in Fox themed armor riding a dragon showed up with him. 2nd son= Leche Mewling. Pampered by father and talks the other 2 into things. less so with Kuro. He is an all bark no bite cowardly schemer. But an idiot that sometimes falls for his own traps. In the Tavern he raises a revolution to take the kingdom from the Apple King. At the end he is the general guiding the knights and such to stop Kuro. They had tried killing him thinking that the Ole Fox had granted him some kind of power and fearing that imaginary power. 3rd son= Kuro Mewling (black cat pun ha ha) Kuro is the Black Sheep of the family. His pops is a simple caretaker of the Kings beloved garden and esteemed "mother". Kuro growing up on story of OPP and his legendary nasty streak for people that cross him or do to much evil; decided to always be courteus and brave; to value the right thing and be just a cinnamon roll of good boyness. Clearly his brothers would pick on him for it but he just chose to see the good in others and act as if they are good even if he found them sketchy. So learning of the King in need he goes along with his bro's to the King. They fell asleep by the Birds song and he did not. But you know the frame work of the rest. He simply saw the Ole Foxes advice as not quite the right thing in each situation so chose otherwise. Apple King= A kind but distant and detached king. He has trouble sleeping and the Golden Apples issue is just something that bothers him. Hearing of the Golden Bird; he imagines it might have a soothing voice that could help him sleep. He suspects that was why son 1 and 2 fell asleep. His father was cursed and became the tree baring the golden apples... for firing OPP at an early age. Apple King was literally an apple from the tree; that learned the value of angering people needlessly. Bird King= Refers to self as a Queen actually (physically male). She loves to bind things and cage them for her own whims; Will treat them very well with only their freedom gone. If the bird were to "fly off" on her it will die. by losing all of its feathers then burning like it was being prepared for a thanksgiving feast. She will be petrified if she does not set her collection free... worded in such a way that she can avoid the curse by simply letting them out of their cages and physical chains each day. Just like the Golden bird she has contract magic with each so they can't run from her. Horse King= The most impatient of people; He wants the Foxy Princess only for her unique appearance... not to bed but to possess like a trophy. He must go a day (full 24 hours) without yelling or hurrying along anyone. He has until what would be Foxy Princess's 21st birthday to accomplish this or he to will be turned into a tree that bares Golden fruit. In his case they will be Golden Coconuts with diamond hard shells. Princess King= Todd is a rather odd King. Ruthless and brutal in his younger age; but after his son (currently ole fox) was born became an upright if strict figure of society. He only wants the princesses happiness but avoided his own curse by promising OPP his first daughters first child as an apprentice; which is why a time deadline was in place for his daughters marriage. He wants MC to prove his loyalty and devotion to his daughter; which is why he asked about removing the hill. Had he failed but the effort was clear he would of called it good enough. But it did reveal the Castle in the distance of the Horse King. Golden Bird= Does not speak in a normal sense but will sing out rock ballads like a bard spinning tales about random things. Explains to MC that he along with some others were all cursed by OPP the Ancient wise wizard for various ill deeds... setting up the events of the movie (call to action). Awesome Horse= Max from Tangled basically; as the base model. Personality more fitting of Mr. Ed. It talks and gets into schinanigans like Mr. Ed. MC just treats him with respect instead of indignation like the other humans. Foxy Princess= Red-orange hair with the bottom half of her Pony tail white like a fox tail and Violet eyes; she is presented as an independent woman that wants true love but will marry for duty if she finds no one by her 19th birthday. The midnight mentioned is her becoming 19; so it is a truly fateful kiss. Sudden as it was tho that is why she trys so hard to say good bye to her family. Oz Pegasus Phoenix= Ancient wise man mwizard that gave the 3 kingdoms their treasures and Cursed the Prince to be a Fox for some ill deeds he did. I wonder if anyone read this full thing...? Well if you did share your thoughts please. I think its not to bad given its just off the top of my head. I only named some because I could not think of good names for all. Name suggestions would be nice.

No it’s not. Try setting the playback speed to .75 of normal and you will do fine. :)
