I run my grimsnarl with swagger, screens, and wide lense to allow my own tempo tinkaton to sweep. It’s worked wonders for me so far. Great content man! I love watching these before I study!

Why not just Taunt? You’re lowering Dragon damage for your team and preventing their own status in exchange for something Taunt or Safety Goggles can block.

@@noivernblast3366 Because it might protect and/or have mental herb and misty terrain lasts for 5 turns. Taunt is a viable option though but I much rather prefer Misty Terrain in general if I am primarily trying to counter spore.

sitrus berry pickpocket grimmsnarl is actually pretty good, since any physical attacker that takes you into sitrus berry range will have their item taken on the same turn, and the slow parting shot lets you tank the damage with grimmsnarl, possibly steal an item, and then give one of your pokemon a safe switch in

covert cloak as a potential counter to fakeout? do you think that item will see much use?

I use it on teams that I think can finish off the opposition or at least gain dominance within 5 turns. Especially if Grimmsnarl can start throwing out parting shots or spirit breaks. with parting shot you can potentially reset screens too :)

what kind of partners are good for grimmsnarls non screen sets?

It's a support 'mon, so it's pretty splashable. Goes well with Steelies and Dragons of course. Or any Meta threats really. Great for closed team sheets because most expect screens. Slow enough for Trick Room, especially if you go 0 speed IV. 🙂 Not Psychic terrain (Indeedee) if you plan to use priority moves other than screens. I actually have a Psychic Seed, Screens, Spirit Break, Assurance Grimm I pair with Indeedee F. 💗🖤😄🤭👹🤫😁🖤💗
