Excited for this series. Im interested to learn how to preserve and save these cars. Full body restore! or at least how to clean up major rust spots.

Love to hear that! Being a budget build, we won't be focusing on a full restore, but certainly getting it structurally sound for some winter fun!

This is a dream series to watch for me. I have a 95 coupe with a 1.8 and AWD, and it's probably the slowest Impreza ever built, but it's still a lot of fun and i'll never part with it. Absolutely destroys everything in it's path on snowy hills even with all season tires.

You don't need a lot of power to have fun, especially in a small AWD vehicle like these!

Nobody going to find one of these in our area for $1K lol. If you can find one at all. We were able to find the GF pretty cheap before and I owned 2 of them, but that has changed now too. Looking forward to the progress on this one. If in doubt...flat out.

Any one of these gc8 cars in canada will run you 6-10k for one with a turbo that's in good shape and not run down. I grabbed a blown one back in 2016 for $500 no rust 98 jdm. Rebuilt with forged rods and pistons 4k. I'd say that's the best deal I'll ever see
