Ordered the raw stainless one, waiting for delivery. The stainless may be popular because it would generally match sti pedals, or at least in my case thats what motivated the choice. Can't wait for it to arrive.

Warms up a bit, but not as much as the raw stainless. The knobs do come in a suede bag that you can use to block some of the heat when not in use.

These look great. Do any come with the shift pattern? Or can you order of them with a shift pattern for WRX/STi? Not that I forget my pattern, but required. If no pattern available, do you provide a pattern sticker?

Good question, at the moment we do not offer a knob with a shift pattern. We like the simplicity but we have been getting that question a lot so it seems like the demand is there. So maybe in the future.

Technically, the shift pattern is required by law, but law-smaw. If no patter on the knob (wider customer base), I know some knobs (black Forrest industries) come with a (interchangeable) magnetic button on top or a small round sticker to place on the center console ivo the shifter. Stickers are cheaper than engraving the pattern which limits product diversity and opens the door for errors to happen. I like the delrin for my space in ohio... 🏁

Is the stubby the same max diameter but just pretty much cut in half?

It's slightly wider, but yes, half as tall.
