@@grimreapers Since ED has done a lot of work on the Hornet maybe you can do another tutorial for the HSI, but really detailed. This has so many functions that were not yet implemented at the time, but are now...

Thank you for doing these tutorials! I did the training mission and didn't understand much which was very frustrating. It's still now, but with your Videos at least I can pause and rewind. I don't have much experience in flight sims or navigation which makes things "a bit" overwhelming. Keep up the good work!

In the Data page of the HSI, under the ToT. I don't see my waypoints; like 1 - 2 - 3 -4. Mission editor problem? I don't know, this stuff is so complicated. But I love it. I will understand it eventually.

Is F10 the only way to acquire lat/Lon for points on the map? It’d be nice if there was some way to TDC the map and drop a lat/Lon to scratchpad.

Hey Grim Reapers, for the course select - can you set a distance for the course select? For example, I want to travel from bullseye to AWACS referencing where the bad guys are - I draw a course with course select, however I still want to see a marker displaying the distance? Where can I see that? - Edit: I assume you can offset the bullseye waypoint as well?

@slowhornet4802
@slowhornet4802 4 жыл бұрын
Buttons below the HUD... where you also find COM1 Com2 LIST At least this was how it used to be in Falcon BMS :-D you also have two override modes (MRM and dogfight). Ideally map a HOTAS control to them.

You are welcome. Forgot to mention: if you are in one of the override modes you can use a "override cancellation button" to return to previous mode. DCS allows to map it to a three-way button so you can quickly switch. To return to NAV you have to press AA again (or AG).

You do amazing work mate but this old aviator just gets confused by TMI …. perhaps you could do shorter presentations with less info and with repetition included mate. Kinda talking with us rather than at us if you get my drift. We need you and your experience … but I find myself turning you off because you are simply overwhelming … it is just all too much. And please slow your speech down. Please consider this constructive not criticising.
