Question, how to lock target in SPOT mode ? TDS dipress return to scan !?

Will spot mode keep the radar pointed in that search area even if you turn or will it turn with the plane? Been having trouble finding low flying targets while evading possible TWS capable missiles and keeping the radar in right direction is a chore sometimes
