Stop skipping / fast forwarding traffic lights and bus stops. That takes the authentication away from the journey. Other than that, its a nice trip.

Thank you for your feedback. I received the exact opposite feedback about removing dead time from the videos. I'll try to balance things to please them all. God love me 😊. Thank you for watching and commenting 🙏

Let me start by stating I was born in GY in 1957 at the Talbot Inn where the Telephone Exchange is now and I joined the Army in 1976 to 1979 and never went back to Grimsby to live, but settled in sunny Essex. Yes I have visited my birth town but not for 40 years, so I try find local people who post car trips or bus journeys in and arround the Gy area to see how much I can remember. Start location River Head first comment written as you approach what I knew to be the Scartho Swimming Pool and yes I did already know it was knocked down. Right turn into the Scartho Rd Hospital site which has been enlarged, I could see the Clock Tower from my bedroom windown on Second Avenue, then back out onto Scartho Rd heading toward Waltham. Up the small hill and down again heading towards Waltham Roundabout and the Waltham Tollbar School. Now passing through New Waltham, left turn back onto the A16 heading towards Louth. Left turn into North Thorsby, which to be honest does not seemed to have changed at all. Back onto the A16 heading towards Louth. Right turn off the A16 towards Ludborough, not much has changed in the Village. Back onto the A16, towards Utterby, once again nothing seems to have changed in the village. Picking up new passenger at Fotherby and continueing through Utterby towards Louth. You turned left on what I assume is an industrial area and stopped to either let people off or to get on. That industrial did not exist the last time I cycled from Grimsby to Louth in 1969 a few days befor the Americans landed on the Moon for the first time. Thank Yoou Bus Outing for recording this and I hope my memory was correct. Tony in Essex

You are not that far from Grimsby since you are still in the country. No worries at all. Unfortunately I don't know how it was in the past to compare so thank you for explaining. Thank you for watching and commenting

I have been considering returning to the Grimsby/Cleethorpes area ( I have lived in Canada for decades but still pine for my home town) and the two videos I have watched so far (bus to Immingham and this one) have been enormously helpful....a) to remind me how utterly beautiful Lincolnshire is when you get into the countryside and b) it helps my brain deal with driving on the left side of the road 🤭. Thanks for posting!!

As I lay dreaming in my bed Across the great divide I thought I heard the trawler boats Returning on the tide And in this vision of my home The shingle beach did ring I saw the lights along the pier That made my senses sing Oh oh Grimsby, a thousand delights Couldn't match the sweet sights Of my Grimsby Oh England you're fair But there's none to compare with my Grimsby Elton John

I would love to go back to North East Lincolnshire but can not afford to as my pension is in Rands that goes a long way here but would not go far in England ! But here we can see bottle nose dolphins and whales when walking on the beach and there is the biggest elephant park in the world a short distance away and Jeffreys Bay is an international surfing venue ! I thoroughly enjoy your videos ! They are BRILLIANT !!!!@@busouting
