Elyoya and Cinkrof were my favorite players, when Cinkrof left it's just Elyoya now. They take competition seriously and is not afraid to take and give criticisms. Sucks the region is weak compared to LCK and LPL but would be nice if EU actually pops off this Worlds.

Damn Elyoya gave out quite the speech. It really looks like the guy is thoughtful, from formulating his ideas over people settling for the nice pay cut just in LEC and not aiming higher, to maybe not being able to win it all, but to still be up to play the role of the trailblazer who will help to close the gap for the future generations of EU teams. He has spoken about it in stream lots of times and he is been working like crazy this year with a very strict schedule and tryharding a lot even if the results weren't that good. Ivern is gonna be a huge pick. The aoe heal from redemption and the shields on the frontliners in mid-late gm teamfights can be a difference maker. I wanna see the west utilize enchanters while also drafting for tanky engage for front to back teamfights with mid and adc on hypers. Heck, some Karthus/Soraka wombo combo, Senna/Seraphine (used with Ivern jg, Olaf top, and Trynd mid ghosting on enemy backline getting extension on Seraphine ult/Senna ult layered over/ Ivern redemption over the top of Olaf/Trynd), Kalista/Renata (throws Renata in with ult to get best placement possible for Renata ult on key targets.) With who though? and hasnt every other super team failure made you realise that those kinds of teams just dont work ever. His talent is wasted on MAD (and it wouldve been pretty cool to see him on G2 if they didnt block the transfer and if Yike wasnt in discussion) but theres no team that he could go to that would utilise him well. Elyoya does amazing when he has a similarly great midlaner. Caps has Yike, Huma has Razork, Vetheo has Jankos, Perkz has Daglas (it seems), only good midlaner without a jng locked is Larrsen but Koi is suffering in finances

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but this MAD team had the potential to be exactly the kind of super team you are asking for. All the individual pieces have shown glimpses of potential throughout the year, but never got their team work together. And Elyoya was definitely a part of the problem. Monte and Thorin love to joke about non-existent synergy between Razork and Humanoid, but they should look at Elyoya and Hyli as well.
