Holy Shit! This battle was REAL close. Johnny Storm edged it by a little bit. Round 1: Tie - Both came pretty hard here. Round 2: Johnny Storm - No need for the explanation, Johnny bodied him here no question. Round 3: Tie - Johnny had some serious bars, but Dirt struck back pretty hard too. OT: Un-necessary, and Dirt slipping up didn't help his chances. Johnny Storm in 3.

This is the first battle i saw with Dirt, but I must say I respect the dude because 1) he took this L like a man and 2) he has no fake urban accent that a lot of other GT rappers somehow have. Storm has been on a roll lately, he's due for a big name opponent.

It's amazing how a bar or two can change a match. The "Close to Snakes/Steady Rain" is making this a hard decision, and Dirt had the other rounds on average.

For real I like dirt. I liked him since I first saw him battle. I noticed in that battle he had in gt south he switched his flow up. When I saw that I said now that's what he needs to do. He kept the multis but at the same time slowed down and that to me made his punches sting more.

Dirt's writing and schemes are actually great, arguably better than storms, but jonny is more polished, has better delivery and switches it up at the right times, he understands this battle shit more, sign of a vet.

Dirt has better writing (listen to his 2nd round) while Storm has better punchlines and delivery. Storms' writing was consistent too, so got the edge here.

even though jonny storm murdered dirt badly, after watching this a few times again a lot of dirts lines really went over my head the first time, and some of jonny storms lines were being over hyped by the crowd mainly in the 3rd round but jonny had already buried dirt by then. and i think the reason why dirts lines went over my head the first few times was due to his delivery, but noone can match jonny storms delivery, jonny's delivery is the best of anyone which always gets him more reaction
