Definitely didn't age better for the judges or Diz, still got Reverse Live winning in 2021. This battle is the epitome of bars over jokes. Good thing Diz finally decided to take it more serious later on and battles like these are what sharpened the blade that allows him to attack his opponent so precisely but still have room for frees, battles like these are wins for battle rap. Good stuff...

I think Dizastergot it in 3 but he totally killed him in OT... Reverse Live was technically sound in OT but didn't really deliver as many punches and instead spent like 8 bars of multis just setting up most of his punchlines which pretty much cost him the battle

How did this go to overtime? I felt that Reverse, being a younger cat, really brought more to the table even if it was pre-meditated. Problem is, this type of battle is mostly about bringing pre-meditated lines to the table.

It was close but, but 90% of Reverse Live's Material is solely based on "Real Talk" which isn't as exciting or laugh worthy, which are the main ingredients in controlling a crowd. I could see why they would go to overtime but if they HAD to choose, I'm it would have been unamiously for Dizaster. Majors Props for the flips these guys were putting up, to me that is even more credit worthy than dope writtens.

OT went to dizaster..however, I just feel that reverse live should have edged it in regulation..but this goes to show you that playing to the crowd, delivery and swagger/showmanship goes a long way in battle raps, something dizaster has..reverse just came so hard though...plus there was more filler time with dizaster than reverse live in my book..still good but ya

Yes Dizaster is a powerhouse and probably top 5 in the whole league, but he did lose to Thesaurus, the only reason he won is because he was expected to lose by most who didn't know him which forced the overtime were Dizaster edged out the round. He has already lost to Nocando on stage, and im sure he'd have a hard time if not lose against Locksmith, 9DM , Hollow Da Don, Soul Khan or Kid Twist even though he aint in GT.
