I remember watching this live with my roommate at the time. I was excited to see Nick and the boys do their thing. Forgot he took a few hits of acid about 30 mins before.. he looked frightened and didn't say a word. For the next 5 hours he made more buzzing sounds than complete normal sentences. It was fucked up. Anyways, so glad I found this.. such a great performance.

@@stephansong Anthony? He’s good, man. Married, 2 daughters, manages a Foot Locker at the outlet malls… not sure if he still makes bee noises though.
@stephansong Жыл бұрын
Haaaaaa. Well. Good thing. Maybe the buzzing helps with the sales. If he made it through that with minor side effects for....life. then it's all good. Good man Anthony. I wonder what he recalls. The beers knees. 🍻 intrigued. Feeling better that I know he's not in a psyc ward buzzing away.

watching this on tv with my old man was what put me onto nick cave in like, junior high and that record was one of the first records i went out and bought new in the cellophane shortly after. now, all these years later, i'm firmly of the opinion that nick cave and his various projects are one of the few discographies with no bad records and he puts on one of the best live shows a person can see

How dare you. Nick Cave is one of the most ultimate musicians to grace this world... Have you ever seen him perform live, I don't care whether you knew him when you were in school... Have you seen him perform ? Live ? In front of thousands?? He is friggen awesome. Private or Public schooling, also means nothing, depends on the student.. Doesn't matter if you are born in a suit or not, if a human can perform and give others pleasure,,, Listen, Indulge & Enjoy... :)

Yeah, Warren has such a wild and ragged look. He looks like he just crawled out of a garbage can out in the alley ready to rock and got on stage. And there was a bit more to this. Dave shook hands with Nick, said "Hi, Nick," and appeared to be thinking "Is this the same man who performed a beautiful ballad on my show just a few years back?" He then asked him if they named their band after the grinder girl from the "Will It Float?" segment, to which Nick laughed and replied "No."
