As an automotive painter for over 20 years I can attest to how good Duplicolor self etching primer is. I have used it extensively and have nothing but success with it. I have nothing to gain by making this claim other than helping people out. Edit: I don’t mean that it is the best product for every situation. But for a rattle can primer, it’s the best I’ve found. It dries fast and is very sandable.

Pro tip: use gaffer’s tape to mask surfaces from sand/media blasting. It is stronger and doesn’t leave as much (if any) adhesive residue. I have 5 years of aircraft parts processing experience and assure you, I have tested MANY masking materials for almost any parts finishing/preparation process and Gaffer’s is gold

Absolutely love the build but I would recommend looking for a custom triple tree online, they make them for dirt bike to atc conversion kits and essentially just spreads out the front forks to fit a wider front wheel and it'll make a nice difference in safety and high speed stability, will also allow you to float over bog and sand easier without trenching and will make it better in snow... not to mention overall look imo... Anyways I love the build just thought I'd offer my suggestion:)

Tip for the next time, the right order is two wheels in the front, one in the rear. That way you have much much much more control over the trike, much less chance of flipping over, which will cause bodily harm. One wheel in the back is also easier to drift with and it provides a easier geometry to work out. I speak from experience.

It's literally a different vehicle when you do that. Anyone that is driven both types of bikes or trikes, that's the whole reason why you want to ride it. When you put two wheels in the front, it turns into a car feeling

They built a reverse trike a couple years ago. Youre probably right I don't doubt it, but I think they were going for two rear wheels this time to switch it up

i would recommend putting blast plates around the transmission, the stock FD transmissions are kinda weak and the outer casings can shatter. I cant imagine it should be much of an issue with that, but being a drift trike the transmission will get alot of abuse,, as for the steering, superfastmatts straight line racing trike has a VERY similar steering system except it uses 2 sets of hardlinks and heim joints, if you are worried about safety (lmao) those are what i would look into. Love your channel, looking forward to more awesome videos :)
