@@GrindHardPlumbingCo I have a roguefab bender too. For thin wall .093 wall 1.5" I machined plugs with hydraulic cylinder seals and made clamps that hold them on the ends. One has a fitting in it. It's attached to a 3000psi regulator. That's attached to a pressure washer. I bend it with 2000PSI in it. YOU MUST BLEED ALL THE AIR OUT OF IT BEFORE IT GETS PRESSURIZED!!!!!!!!!.It makes absolutely perfect bends. Almost 0% deformation.

He is a fabrication Jedi and I ook forward to the new shop build and him being able to enjoy being able to work with room to move around. The electronic module for the door dinger is located near the left side of the stereo. It's a little black box with a speaker that can be unplugged and reset. Just remember to plug it back in because it also controls your wipers for some reason.

I was thinking you could program an Arduino to handle the rear steer. Use a sensor on the steering column to determine the angle of the front wheels and use that as input for what the rear should be doing. You could have a few selectable modes: In phase (aka crab), out of phase (wheels turn opposite direction of front), and manual mode with a joystick.

19:14 - this is why I love (not just enjoy) watching these guys at work in the GHPC Shop. Ethan & Edwin alone out there is a reminder of Olden (punned) Times, when Ethan on the metal lathe was the most fascinating tooling/machining fab option in the shop. those were pre-Swindling Swindler’s Swindled Swindle days. now, there’s a proper set of GHPC Rascals to rip & rev RPMs, and break stuff for Dad to not only fix/repair, but upgrade to eventual Military Tank specs Spring’s around the corner. I look forward to dustbowl action & new shop construction. the fellas have overpaid their dues by working on the crusty clapped-out concrete floor, beneath the legendary wood-burning stove.

A nice shiny chrome propeller on that rear output shaft would look great. A selectable front locker will help with the traction issues. The rear diffs might not like it, but a supercharged LS or Coyote engine swap into the Stranger Ranger would be premium.

You should use the Arc Droid to make some plasma drag tip templates. I cut a thin wall 5" dia. tube a 1/4" long in the bandsaw. Welded an 11ga 2"x5" tab to the side. Used that tab to clamp it into place & cut out a very repeatable 4.5" hole with the hand held plasma. This was 25 years ago. I'm surprised I don't see others doing this.

greenlee hole cutting kit they are so much nicer and faster than using a hole saw ....i use them to go through stainless all the time.... we also use a speed a reducer, not mandatory but the extra handle and being able to just pull the trigger makes things more efficient

I would LOVE this in all matte black.... This thing is a beauty and would be the perfect bike hauler for off-road use and I want one. It would be even better if it was electric and could charge batteries like a mobile charging station.... Maybe a few retractable solar panels and a hidden secondary battery that would trickle charge all day and it would be an amazing SHTF vehicle. 😁🖤👍

The next project should be a 8x8 ranger with a 6 door cab with a electric full rear window that folds the rear seat down in to a full size box from a short box. The goal is to be able to slide a fill sheet of plywood in to the back of the truck. You also need to widen the entire thing to 8 feet wide. . The front 4 fires need to turn as do the back 4 rear. Diesel motor with allison transmission. Full automatic lift system built in so that tire change is easy. Full lentht skid plate with nice bumper with winch.

If I might offer a suggestion: I don't think there's a lot of lateral strength on those outside bars. A bar running from bar to bar at the bends- even a removable one like what's holding in the spare tires- would go a long way towards strengthening them.

A locker for the front axle should be no problem. I wonder how like “cutting brakes” would work. Basically a pair of bake levers for left and right side so you can stop the side with less traction from spinning and force the side with more traction to turn.
