David Goggins says it is okay to be alone sometimes. David Goggins had to go back to that sewer of life. David Goggins got out as a true champion by grinding ALONE. David Goggins is an introvert and he likes being alone, but for some people, this might be a big challenge. David Goggins does not like crowds. That's when you need to change your mindset to being okay with being alone and unhappy for a while. STAY HARD!

I feel like I'm drowning myself in entertainment it's ruining my life, I'm going to get out of my comfort zone and stop going back to comfort when I'm feeling down. Edit: Six months later, and I'm doing much better. I quit video games, drinking, and most importantly, self-pity. I have a stable friend group who cares about me, and I am on track to become a leutitentant of the Marine Corps right after I finish college. I have one month until my IST, and i'm not gonna lie. My current score is around 200, so I have a long way to go in a short time. But I'm going to do it. This path was not pretty at all. I did fall back into my comfort zone many times, but it has gotten better, and it all started when I wrote this comment.

Yup. Two years now doing my own thing completely off the grid. No social media, no friends by choice, no partners to make me do what they want. Peer pressure does not exist right here. I absolutely know who I am today and will never bend my existence to please anyone ever again. This is my life. My only chance. I took that chance and love it. You should do the same. You, the one reading this. I promise you will find yourself out there. Good luck!

No friends is a mistake. I have one friend and many people who I just know but they aren’t friends. When you’re almost 50 (like myself in one year), you will want more connection otherwise mental illness like depression can creep up. Everyone needs one person at least (if they can). It gets lonelier and sadder the older you get…I read comments from 70 year olds who which they had at least one person. Try to connect with at least one person (and I am talking about friendship not romance).

My bro.... Being alone makes you build character.... A strong one. But cutting all social connection is a mistake. We are social beings by nature. Connect with others but never allow your life to rovolve around them. Balance is good. But all that being said... Only you know what's best for you.

you've both implied I am staying this way. people always want to talk to me in public because I am constantly told I attract (which always makes me laugh considering how I am rn) but i dont allow too deep of a connection to take place but I know when the day comes when i want social connections to happen, I will let them.

I'm starting today. Quitting youtube, video games, eating badly. I'm going to exercise, practice piano, read books, study and be uncomfortable. It will not be pretty, I will fail many times, but eventually I will make it. If you are reading this, I hope that you are doing great. That doesn't mean comfortable, it means that you're doing great things. Today you are the youngest that you will EVER be. If you want to start something then DO IT. Close youtube, turn the device off and go start it. It will never be easy, but it will all be worth it in the end. At the end of the day it's YOU and YOUR life. Same for me. If someone tells you what to do, they can have great suggestions. But take everything they say with a grain of salt. You have to make the decision. Remember that God is with us all and stay on the path. You will want to stop so many times. But if you accept all the struggle and get trough it, you'll make it. Amen

Loneliness in my experience comes primarily from being separated from who we really are. Even on an isolated mountain top, no one is ever alone. Even if he was the last man on earth. He would still not be alone.

I ran my first 10K the other day. Spent 3 months running almost everyday. Managed to stay in the top 10-20% I thought I was hard but the reality struck me when some 60 year old people out ran me and I couldn’t catch them. I asked them afterwards how they managed to do that at their age. Their advice was run nearly everyday for 15+ years.

I am currently laying in bed due to a leg injury, resting after a procedure. The doc said I need to rest with my leg up. It hurts to do that. It really does. More than any other recent physical pain I can remember. Just sudden and strong bursts of pain in my right shin like I haven't felt before. I haven't put it down in 20 minutes but it feels like 2 hours. It sounds like nothing but nah, this hurts. And I refuse to set it down and quit before the timer goes off. I gotta stay hard and I'm doing so with some help from this video. Thanks, David

I have been on an endeavor to find the man that is waiting to grow out of me as I embark upon the 2nd quarter of 2024. I don’t have much right now as when it comes to money or a career. I broke away from a very toxic office job that was killing me for over 7 months. After the end of January going into February I found myself at a low level in which my health was severely inflamed. Ever since March I’ve been on fire with changing my overall direction in health, and now as of April 11th…I am being to see muscle come back, my cardio is blazing down trials, and I’m becoming spiritually stronger overall aspects of my life. My spirituality has conquered the mind to be more focused on bettering myself, and now the physical body is becoming stronger by the hour. I have a long term at to go with where I feel I have to be, but the key is not surrendering to the system or these toxic environments fueled by decaying people. Life is wild when you really start seeing through the soul of it all because the spirit really is a precious gift in us that we abuse and rebel against.

I workout everyday. Even though it hurts like hell. It took me 5 years to lose and keep off 60 lbs. Now, I am concentrated on losing the last 20 and building lean muscle. I want to defeat everything that has threatened to defeat me. I come from a fd up family, and I'm literally lost in this world with only my hopes and dreams as a guide. So I made fitness my life. And ppl can't understand my obsession. But it helps my mentally deteriorated mind dream for better. And as I begin to see muscle and cuts where fat used to be, it at least makes me feel like God didn't create a complete waste of space.

Key word about being alone is SOMETIMES. If someone is alone all of the time it's usually soul crushing. We all have varying levels of needs for social interactions but hardly anyone is built to be alone all the time. Sometimes might be okay, even most of the time, but not all of the time

I hate the term “built for”… we weren’t built for or against anything, nothing, we make ourselves or let the events of life make us without our input, there is no “built for” this or that…there is nothing wrong with. Ring alone and there is nothing wrong with seeking companionship/company…neither will bring you down, we weren’t “built for” anything, we are born and some of us create a purpose while some of us just exist and get by…you get to choose and for some of us the choosing and following through with the choice is the toughest thing.
