Grinding Headwaters Lake for Giant Bass

I left out a few fish from this video.

It turned out to be a dink fest but at least they are active. Biggest bass was probably about 2.5 to 3 pounds. This lake was sprayed down south but you can still find good vegetation in other areas.
I lost count on how many were caught but at the end of the day... I am just fishing for the fun of it although I am rather competitive and I am constantly searching for that double digit fish.
I had to down size to start getting bites and every time I hooked up I started to throw bigger lures / baits to see if there were any bigs in the area.
Unfortunately for me there were no big bait bites at all on this day but as you can see I did still manage to hook up on a few fish. Just wanted better quality... everyday can't be the best day but being on the lake is my happy place so it's still a win!

I love catching big fish but if I catch dinks all day it will still be a good day for me. If you ever want to fish northeast TN send me a message. I live right on Norris Lake. Cherokee lake is a 30-minute drive and Clinch and Powel Rivers are great for a 4-6 hour float trip.

Hey bud, love your vids. Me and my father in law are coming March 13 from Texas. Will a pontoon boat be ok to use in headwaters lake. Any info will help. Someone alluded to a pontoon boat being a bad idea to take there but that's all I have. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully we will catch ya out there. We will be there for an 8 day trip. Please advise if pontoon fishing boat would work out in that lake with no problems.

I’ve never seen a pontoon out there. There are some heavy matted areas out there. Tons of hydrilla. I can’t say that a pontoon would be ideal out there.
