Grinding Through Ranked While Only Queueing Fill! - SMITE Ranked Mid Gameplay

Today we start our ranked grind with a merlin mid lane match! I'm putting a twist on our ranked grind by always queueing fill to really sharpen my skill in every role and test my skill as I rise through the ranks! And for our first ranked match we were able to snag mid lane which allowed me to put on my carry pants and slay like crazy with one of my top picks, Merlin. This bronze? Already people with level 10 gods? Like honestly I started smite currently level 32. Till level 30 i got the most fun biggest god in a lobby maybe level 3 rest 0 or 1 but since I hit level 30 i got in games with and against level 10 gods and overall +150 level dude and i am just 32. So idk what smite/ hi-rez is doing in sbmm but its awful and I completly lost the joy in smite

Yeah everyone starts in bronze 3 and you have to work your way up from there. Which makes the rank a bit of a mess as most people are just trying to fight out of it. I'm sorry the matchmaking is making your experience terrible lately. Sadly something you see with higher level and ranked lobbies is people basically only spam their diamond gods. In ranked it makes sense as everyone is trying their hardest but in casuals it's just because people sit on 2-5 gods and don't try new things. Matchmaking is and has been a mess for a while and I'll tell you not to expect an improvement since smite 2 is the ultra focus of Hi-rez right now and while they are still putting out patches and content for smite 1 it's in the backseat for quality of life improvements and matchmaking sadly falls in that space.
