Great build... I think I will build one just like it. I have a question though... what kind of super glue did you use on the rubber pads and what did you spray on the rubber just before attaching them? I have never had any success getting rubber to stick to anything no matter how well I prepped or the adhesive I used.

As far as a sturdy reasonable costing welding table goes that is one of the best tables I’ve seen. Great work!!

I just built one based on this video but went a little bigger and it's amazing. Edit: No warping or problems with heat and I've abused the thing. I do lawn care as my business and make products welding that I sell on marketplace and this thing can deal with 12 hour days of constant heat, though I've only had it about 3 months and only put in a full full days of welding on it when the weather is too extreme to do lawncare.

I just built this table and it looks amazing but I added a pull out tray to catch the welding slag and anything else that might drop between the slats of the table top. Thank you for your blueprint

Very nice build. Having built a somewhat similar table, I realized afterwards that I hadn’t left room underneath for my feet and a TIG pedal. Something other new builders may want to consider. Nice table and a very good video!👍🏼👍🏼

Nice job! One suggestion, put castors on the table legs so you can move it around. You can move it to other areas of the shop, and it's easy to sweep under when you move it.

Very important. Load capacity should be a minimum of 150kg per caster. The table itself will weigh between 100-200 kg. The work load would max-out around 100kg. That’s 300kg total mass. Add hammer blows and dropping heavy work onto the table, (impact load) and that double’s the load present - you end up at 600 kg. 600kg/4 = 150kg.

the way you isolated those plates in the vinegar is also a really good idea for a bulk electrolysis rust removal solution, just the kind of idea i've been looking for recently, but in a place I wasnt expecting it, great work

i like all the hold down holes , i made my welding table out of a 4ft round "Chill" ( a 2 piece round centrifugal mold bolted together for making hard surface welding rod and inserts "forney supercote ect.") is bout 3 inches thick with a hole in the middle(to pour the molten metal in) is extremly heavy but when you weld to it you can just take a chisel or punch and knock the splatter off

The one thing I'd suggest is a stripper wheel for the grinder to remove the oxide layer. Everyone had their own opinion but at least for me, the stripper wheel works the best in terms of speed and amount removed. I think they're usually found with sanding items or at least closer to the wood workin sections of hardware stores. The other benefit is it has the ability to remove light to mild rust at the same time so when it's time to paint, a real quick hit from the orbital and that's as good of a surface as you can get without a sandblaster

Отличная работа. Только стол после сварки пластин к проф трубе потерял плоскость . Я бы добавил хотя бы по центру еще пару вертикальных перемычек между верхом и низом и сплошным швом пластины не варил. Не критикую , а советую . Удачи, всем добра!

Да его 100% выгнуло дугой, можно с обратной стороны профиля (напротив каждого шва) еще швов налепить. Болгаркой прорезать и заварить, прорезать - заварить и т.д. Потом, если надо, заподлицо зачистить. Выгнет обратно :)

i reall like this table, its simple and sturdy and you can hold things in place with the holes. the only thing i would have added was a draw so i would have easy accsess to things i would need like tungsten, caps and maybe some tools. two thumbs up on this

The idea and the design are good, I would prefer to use cold-drawn steel with a minimum thickness of 10mm, the tubes should ideally have a wall thickness of 3mm. So that it does not bend during welding, you can attach additional vertical braces to the sides, which can be separated again after welding.

Да, вот только ровность поверхности рабочей оставляет желать лучшего. С первых кадров видны неровности пластин. В процессе приваривания пластин к верхнему царговому поясу, возможна тепловая дефомация от провара, т.е. скорее всего по центру стола, возможен прогиб. Стол бытового применения сгодится.

Вроде как эта неровность компенсируется проваркой точек с обратной стороны профиля. Его тянет в другую сторону и все выравнивается.

@@Max_Molotok возможно, только одно но, как просчитать эту деформацию без спец программ, спец знаний. На заводах при варке некоторых изделий, используют такую методу или же компенсируют тепловую деформацию, заранее придав определенный обратный угол детали А относительно детали Б. После провара по такому методу, деталь А "встаёт" в 90°, при этом это просчитано квалифицированными людьми.

More like a piece of artwork than a useable welding table. Doing all of this with a tig welder was incredibly labor intensive. Get yourself a mig!😀 and consider investing in a cutting torch. But nice job!

very nice. tip: to save wearing out your drillbits prematurely, and make the work go faster, go up in increments instead of forcing a large drillbit through the metal. drills are most effective at the edges. and always use the right speed. for the size of bit.

I really enjoyed this video. When summer is over I have been looking for some projects to do to keep me busy. I need a good welding table and I like the way yours turned out. I also appreciate you giving a link to this table to be able to build one myself. Some people on KZbin make you pay for blueprints to build what they build. I did a wood base and inset metal slats like his. Ran a ground wire to each slat. Wood kept the cost and weld distortion down. I leveled the base with a router sled and got flatness within 0.007 across 6 feet.

Years ago I built 2 rolling steel saw horses with a 3x3 tube on top of each one with a pc of 1 1/8 plywood top. You can lay out on wood and build to it, flip over when it gets burnt up and get a new one after that. Also horses are tied together at bottom and come apart to roll out of way for bigger projects.

Классно сделано и аккуратно! Маленький пункт от владельца подобного стола - лично мне одной полки не хватило. 2 года назад сделал себе сварочный стол с одной полкой, там стоит полуавтомат, а над ним куча места, где можно было сделать еще одну полку для ручного инструмента. Ящичек там бы вообще звездой стал)
