Had the CS2 for about a year n a half. After watching your video I decided to try the CX1. Your review is spot on. I had the exact same issues with the CS2. It's a good bag but lacks storage and the hourglass shape was not a good design. The CX1 fixes those issues and imo its the perfect bag. Thank you!

I don’t know obviously throw as many discs. But for the amount of storage you get, I think it’s one of the best bags!

I’m having a really tough time deciding between the Cx-1 and bx-3…I bag 14 discs atm 10 moulds. Dunno if I should get the bx-3 for room to add more. On the other hand I don’t wants discs flopping around in my bag.

Great question and great points! I had a larger bag and hated that discs flopped around. I know for me, I wanted to take a minimalist approach as I know that I play better with less discs. Do you happen to have any shops close by that you can go bring the discs you bag to see what fits? I'm at a point where if something is coming into the bag, something else is coming out. I enjoy the game more when my bag is lighter and more compact, but that's me! If you think the number of discs that you carry could potential expand, you may want to consider the BX-3. How long have you been playing? How set are you in your disc-lineup for rounds? Do you play tournaments?

@@localdiscgolf Thanks for the reply. I’ve been playing for 2 years now and I’ve just started playing tournaments this summer. I’ve dropped my bag down to 14 discs from 21, and have found my game has gotten better for sure. I guess because I’m still somewhat new I’m not sure if I should be carrying more. I see a lot of guys carrying duplicates of certain discs in varying plastics/conditions. I don’t right now, but I’m wondering if I should be. I should add I don’t carry anything over 8 speed right now.

@markwhite5567 thanks for the insight. I have been playing for almost 20 years and I don’t throw anything over a 9 speed. But that certainly doesn’t mean that that will always be your reality. You are right it is very common for players to reduce the number of different discs in exchange for repeats of the same disc. As you throw a disc more and more of the tends to start playing more under stable, meaning the disc can feel the same in hand but exhibit different flight characteristics. I myself have 3 different TSA mantras and 3 different hex’s. I would still say that the CX-1 is enough bag for most, but that’s a question only you can answer. I borrowed a BX-3 only to learn it was too big for my needs. Now admittedly, since then, I have sold my CX-1, but that’s only because we were sent the Rufus from Pound bags and it is nearly identical size-wise. Anyone local to you have a CX-1 you could borrow?
