Joe you have hit it out of the park with this video. This is a teaching technique I have used for many many years. I also believe that the pressure applied with certain fingers should be more than others on certain strokes. I believe on ground strokes applying more tension with your middle finger to your little finger is more important than using your thumb and index finger and on the serve and overheads it would be the opposite; applying more pressure with your index finger and thumb which allows more fluidity and wrist movement.

amazing advice again, thanks. I was never really sure what I should be doing but seemed to intuitively feel that lighter was better so it's great to get some more focus and understanding around it. My favourite part of the video is your daughters dimples :)

I have had students complain that the racket spins in their hand and I tell them they are squeezing too tightly. They look at me like I am crazy :)
