I fixed the gaps with the tracks by holding it with two hands and pushing the track with my thumbs in the direction towards the ends. They sapped into place and no more gaps. Motor runs smoothly, even at low speed.

Great review! Do you know if it can be used upside down? I have a cool shot in mind, I want the camera to be exactly above the food and move horizontally while pointing the lens down.

It is quite good, i like it. I still have mine but don't use it so often as i use a camera instad of a phone. But overall it does a great job.

I haven’t tried it. You can put the bar on a tripod, but i suggest to put it on 2 tripods(one at each end) for better stability.
