insane handle length/width and sweep on the standards. i could see someone with shorter fingers struggle to tns that big time
@terryconjugateiron
@terryconjugateiron Жыл бұрын
Oh yeah they're a handful (get it? Lol) these really wide grippers will carry over to pretty much any other brand for MMS at least. TNS would require some very big hands with these indeed

Great work, although I have to ask. Are you sure that 2.5 isn't rated 57kg and not 51? 51kg RGC for a 2.5 is super low, which would be very very rare.

You know... You might be right! I did wonder for a sec when I added the text lol... Yeah it must be 57kg thanks for bringing that up

Strong grip, Terry! I gotta practice with mine more. I only own a 100 and 150 lb one. I usually rep the 100 for amrap followed by a hold at the end. What do you recommend doing to progress on these?
@terryconjugateiron
@terryconjugateiron Жыл бұрын
Thank you Carter! We'll if you're repping the 100 and 150 you should grab a 200 and 250 and start doing less reps. I kinda look at it like my bench but obviously with less volume since the forearm and fingers have much less muscle mass. I used to overdo it with warm up and working sets and burnt out early 2020.

What is the rgc? And how does coc compares to heavy grippers?
@terryconjugateiron
@terryconjugateiron 4 ай бұрын
Most of the grippers I showed were not calibrated. The CoC 2.5 is at 112lbs, The Standard Platinum at 114lbs and the Armlifting Greece Olympian ranges from 110 to 130lbs I believe.
@terryconjugateiron
@terryconjugateiron 4 ай бұрын
I wouldn't say that CoC compares to Heavy Grips. I like the knurling of the Heavys more though

So if you train your grip strength you can tear up card stacks?
@terryconjugateiron
@terryconjugateiron Жыл бұрын
I can't say that being good at grippers will make you good at tearing cards. Very different movements when compared. If you want to get good at card tearing, focus on that. It takes time, just saying in case you're a beginner etc.

Hey would you say powerball 250lb or the gods of grip 250lb are a good bridge from COC 2.0 to the 2.5?
@terryconjugateiron
@terryconjugateiron Жыл бұрын
Yeah I think that an unrated 250lbs gripper is a good bridge between the #2 and #2.5 but RGC plays a big part in this as well. If you happen to have a very hard #2.5 then you might have to be able to rep that 250lbs before you get to your #2.5 hope this helps...
@ted9000
@ted9000 Жыл бұрын
@Terry Conjugate Iron That helps a lot thanks! I can rep my 200lb powerball and I think I'll finally close my COC 2 after a few days rest, then I'll get a 250lb as my next goal. Which do you think is better God's of grip or powerball?
@terryconjugateiron
@terryconjugateiron Жыл бұрын
@@ted9000 I can't speak for the God's of Grip Elites since I only own the older discontinued line and due to BREXIT I don't see myself buying them anytime soon... But as far as what I have I like Powerball more due to the rougher knurling on the handles. Also, you might want to rest a bit longer between grip trainings. A few days time isn't long enough for your hands and forearms to recover. I don't know how you train though its just a suggestion 🤝
