I tried to make Temur Giants work with Beanstalk Giant and a couple of the low mana Shapeshifters. With Bonecrusher Giant, it felt like a good deck. But Eldraine was just too powerful. When Eldraine rotated, the format loosened up but the deck worsened a lot without Bone Crusher. There just weren't good early plays to keep you alive or develop and playing counters feels so bad in a deck where you always tap out. 2 mana shock and 3 mana 4/3 in one card just meant so much to the top heavy deck. A couple of early drop 1/5 giants would have gone a long way to stabilizing and turning on Squash (man Squash often felt awful after rotation). Why isn't Giant Ox a giant? Haha. Or maybe a decent flash giant could have made playing counters a bit better.

Izzet Giants was so good for like a minute. Tried building it in Pioneer and just didn't translate because it was too slow.

Even in standard you had no chance against a control deck, but at least you'd eat most creature decks for lunch. I think this video goes to show how OP angels are because even with hard counters like shutting off lifegain and collected company he still barely won.

I'm glad to see Crim is as worried/upset that we're going back to Eldraine as I am haha. Also, I know he was being sarcastic, but yes the lifegain from the Great Henge is probably my least favorite part of it. But that's mostly because I'm a burn player haha

That Omnath deck played Escape to the Wilds just before you started complaining about Eldraine, you probably were thinking about that card when you started but since it's a sorcery it wasn't around for you to point to when you were done.

My policy on trash talking is that if you're not willing to say it when sitting next to a 6'4'' body-builder who will cave your face in the moment you open your mouth, don't do it, you're better off winning with your dignity (and face) intact.

I want to be clear on this - I have no issues with Crim using emotes. Personally I dislike it and think it's a jerk move but this is the internet..so par for course. However the reason "it's an in game feature" to justify "it's not a jerk move to use it" is rubbish. You know it's a jerk move and that it's generating joy for you and your fans potentially at expense of some random human. That's fine, it's funny, fans like seeing it - do it. But don't try and white wash that it's not a jerk move because the game doesn't stop you from doing it. The game allows people to salt rope - that must mean it's fine to do! The game allows me to spend $10,000,000 on cards - that must also be fine to do! Just because the world or a video game doesn't actively stop you from doing something -doesn't make that action a nice thing to do. Call a spade a spade Crim. It's goddamn hilarious for you and your audience dropping the sick taunts and mic drop emoji's when you have a flash threat - but don't pretend you'd find it just as funny doing that to bot. It's only funny because you're doing that to a person and the enjoyment stems from imagining the rug pull of emotions you could be sending them through.

dude, you GOT to sort your audio out. You background noise is always outrageously bad, and now you're putting a gate on there so aggressive it's cutting out your voice in places. You're a big boy on a big channel, get a mic and RX voice denoise! That ad read is painful.
