About World's Deadliest:
World’s Deadliest Predators is a new series that looks at most riveting moments of animal predation, breaking down the struggle for survival and supremacy into five action-packed episodes. Top Hunters focuses on the most feared animals in their class: animals at the top of their food chain; the hunters who are prey to no other animal. Killer Packs illustrates when predators multiply their advantage over prey by banding with others of their species to hunt. Lethal Weapons shows that the physical attributes and built-in concealed weapons have the ability to make an animal a top predator. Our Superpowers episode focuses on the animals that see, hear, and smell better than any others…and that relative to their size on are the fastest and strongest creatures on the planet. And whether it is over food, territory or sex, animals go to war within their species and against other species…Battles dissects these conflicts, from the strategy to the play-by-play. These five episodes bring together dozens of species, which are extraordinary, savage, and the World’s Deadliest Predators.

If both are fully grown adults, grizzly bear is bigger so i guess it stands a better chance. But then they do not generally live in the same areas. And such big predators usually avoid a deadly fight with each other.

I remember a big sign when I went to the states with bear information. It said to wear wear bells on your shoes and make lots of noise when you were hiking. It also described the bears, the smaller black bear and the grizzly, which could be told apart by their poo: black bear poo was smaller with berries in it. Grizzly poo was larger, with bells in it

Sneaking from behind, well, some cats. Lions attack in groups/prides and hunt a bit more like wolves...ambushes. All very clever tactics. Grizzlys are poorly spread and nowhere the success of felines. Bears are also too tied to the seasons, what good is it if they need to take a long sleep? This makes them more of a vulnerable target...

I don't get all these comments on how this is "horrible", this is beautiful. Bears are fascinating, just like many other animals, and the fiercer the more fantastic! I also see a lot of comments saying "Bears aren't evil killing machines, they only attack under very specific circumstances." That's not entirely false, but not entirely true. No animals attack humans usually because we're loud and skinny, except if we do something that makes it needs to defend its territory. But bears, like most creatures, eat more then they need to because there will be times when they don't have enough to eat. So even if they aren't hungry, but see an opportunity to kill, they'll do it so they can eat it and store the fat. Nature isn't Disney, animals kill animals, get over it. It's a beautiful cycle that isn't inhumane (well, I guess it IS inhumane, but you know what I mean) just because a young animal dies here or there. Babies are the cheeseburgers of the wild.

I searched for Grizzly videos because my friend just died on the 14th from a grizzly bear attack in Ohio, while working as a roofer for a new housing development. He was supposed to go for 5 days, and come back to D.C where I'm at. I come to find out that he died....I had no other details for two days. Then I found out that he was attacked by a Grizzly Bear...that came from an area of land that hadn't been cleared yet for the housing development. I still cannot believe it happened. I can't think of a worse way to die, there really aren't too many things worse than that. I vomited as soon as I heard. It's just tragic. Black bears will mostly leave you alone. However Grizzlies are a completely different story. They are thinking that the Grizzly may have had cubs and she possibly thought my friend was a threat. His coworkers were able to get away while the bear was busy with my friend.

I've been looking into learning more about grizzly bears ever since a few days ago. My friend is a roofer, and went on an assignment to Ohio. (We are from D.C). I found out a few days ago that he died while he was on the job site. My best friend, for 23 years, since Kindergarten. I find out the day after that, that he was attacked viciously by a Grizzly Bear. I was stunned...I was in shock, disbelief. Then I found out that Grizzly attacks have been on the rise ever since some law was passed regarding hunting them or something. I really can't think of a worse way to die than that. He must have been absolutely terrified while trying to get away. They can move up to 30 mph, a fast human can run barely half of that. My heart is broken. His funeral is tomorrow and it's going to be a closed casket, for obvious reasons. I am still in shock when I try to think about it...it doesn't seem real. Now I almost regret watching this video...after seeing the first attack shown here...how he just grabbed it and shook it like a rag doll. I have no idea how long my friend suffered.

it's a scary thing I noticed in these vids, bears never finish the job, they just start eating if they can. fack bears. It would be SO COOL though if we could breed them to be docile and obedient, imagine having a brown bear on a leash through town. "Oh him? His name's Dog."
