Used it. I like it. But I can’t recommend it for heavy backpacking hunts-it just doesn’t carry comfortable for me when the weight exceeds 80lbs.

Another great podcast with a wealth of knowledge. Did you make a rug or full body mount with your grizzly hid. Do you have a specific tannery or taxidermy that you use just curious 🧐 # stay gritty

It is all tanned and prepped for a full body, but not sure yet. I am very impressed with Judkins Custom Taxidermy in Sandy, UT.

@@GrittyGearAndPodcast There website looks good. I usually don’t throw out names very often. We have tanned some big Alaskan grizzly bears for (Custom Bird Works) out of Missoula Montana. They have been in business since 1988. They also make habitat rock. Maybe something to consider.
