When I was a teenager in the 70s in the states we swam at the local reservoir all the time. No trespassing etc. I didn't even know these things existed until it turned on. Big underwater grate about 4 feet by 4 feet. If you were anywhere in the vicinity you'd be sucked into it and there's no way you would survive.

Yeah if this is a simulation, you deserve the vicious mockery coming your way when you unplug.

Good upload. Very important to let people know the dangers of swimming in places like this even though they may look safe! Well done. If you are never told simple truths like this, with simple explanations like this, then you may make the uninformed decision to jump in and wake up dead sadly. Sometimes the simple knowledge does not get passed on simply because we assume everyone knows already. Well that is not the case, no matter how simple and obvious something may look, if you are never told what and why, there are some important but possibly 'not so obvious' things you will never know. Those older tents used to come with waterproof seam sealers and a tarp for underneath the tent. The Waterproof seam sealers were A++ ! Stood up through every rainy season in the Adirondacks!

We have pebble quarries here, which have filled with water, they have sheer edges so once in you can't scramble out easily. Also because they are stone the water is exceptionally cold and you go into cold shock if you jump in. They really do look inviting but they are death traps. The quarry company are fabulous though and have put life rings all around and maintain the fences and warning signs. They have finished digging now and are turning it into the most scenic bird sanctuary. Thanks so much for your video, once again you are giving out great advice.

I was on an island off the coast of New Hampshire, US, the only place swimming was allowed was at a horrible little beach next to the ferry dock. Around the backside I found a lovely long flat stone devoid of seaweed, changed into my suit/cap and lowered myself in. As soon as I let go of the rock a huge current tugged me 20 feet away, it was a long struggle returning and no-one was around. Actually had to find a spot where the current wasn't as bad.

Hi, hope you're OK? My brother died in a reservoir 30 years ago, and I can't believe how time flies. He had to be found by divers, it was truly horrible having to ID him. He was a beautiful soul & the world was a sadder place without him. He was 20 years old, I still miss him. It saddens me to read of something similar every year since. Interestingly, he didn't drown, his heart stopped once he was fully immersed. The coldness of the water on a red hot day stopped his heart.

@@GrizzlyGaz not sure Gas if you have ever seen Ontario Sasquatch before, but the main Sasquatch that was documented a lot during the habitation…….. was called Nephtus He and his sister and make the perfect ambassadors for their kind, full of fun, always playing jokes on people…….” I’ll never forget the man who tried to hide after as good as running into one in the dark on his trial outside his house, he tried to escape stupidly by climbing a few feet up into a small tree 🌳 petrified in fear, standing in the street in near darkness. …….Suddenly, something taps him on the shoulder, he screams and jumps out of the tree describing how he believes his legs started moving before he hit the ground……. The funny part was that despite his terrified scream he described his screen being totally drowned out by the sound of what he later came to 2/3 adolescent Sasquatch laughing hysterically from the tree line behind him! I’m sure you’ll dig Ontario Sasquatch Neph… who I believe is the real deal is a bit of a character Over the years, I’ve heard of numerous different habitations. Each of them have been very unique, but with very familiar descriptive similarities! One elderly grandfather, whose grandson was telling the story reported that his grandfather had spent many years meeting the Sasquatch in a specific area, where he would start a fire and hand out bottles of homebrewed, beer, cider and lemonade, and of course, selected fruits, vegetables, and cuts of meat……… as his grandson now growing up, tells it when his grandfather passed away, he went back to attend to the estate before it was sold. During which time he returned to the habitation site, expecting that the family had moved on feeling sad as he was, he didn’t expect to run into them……. But found them waiting patiently at the spot. He and his grandfather used hang out with them when his grandfather first took him. There is a kid. He claims that they comforted him and gave him gifts a few things that he recognised that his grandfather had given him to give to them years earlier from what I can remember correctly they told him something that his grandfather would’ve wanted him to know, but was unable to tell him before he passed. I can’t remember the exact details of the story though if I find it I’ll send you the link………. there was even a habitation story from Australia with a family who had shared the farm and lands. They bought with the family of Sasquatch there. Kind regards🫣

It’s around 4am here in the states and my big lug of a mastiff just woke me up trying to snuggle his ‘small’ self under my comforter ! Apparently HE was cold , the big baby. An honest question, what is the difference between stealth camping and being homeless? Why is it okay for people to hate the homeless but not okay for people to hate you? In reality I don't think it's okay to hate anybody I'm just asking about the current perception in the world today. Everybody is supportive of that people camping in their trucks or sleeping places where they're not supposed to be sleeping. But if somebody is homeless, we all hate that person and want the police to do something about it.

In Massachusetts, they opened a reservoir for kayaking and canoeing. The reason is that the state closed the pump house. Their are hiking trails but not recommended for camping.

I wish more tents would go back to that old style green, I think they look much better. Glad the warden didn't do his walk and you managed to get a good camp in. Although I like my decathlon stove, I've had my eye on the Soto for a while, as I like the width of them and they just look the business. Nice one 🙂

Fab channel Gaz, I've subscribed on all of my channels (even though my channels are no where near as good or entertaining as your channel) Would love to see you go to more haunted locations, especially back to the one where the farmers wife hung herself (where we could hear the crying or moaning and whistling) ….. but this time take someone along with you, so you'd be able to stick it out for longer … defo something there from the other side and for once on KZbin, a real and true paranormal capture !! … love it ! Keep up the good work buddy, one of the best content uploader out there and all very well worth watching

Everytime i go camping there is always somthing or two i forget. lol Cant beat doing some camping. There's somthing refreashing and challenging at the same time. And it makes those days more memorable when looking back. Great stuff
