I so agree with Tracie on having a friend knit the other sock. You would knit one sock while your friend knits the other one. That would be so much fun and then you would knit their sock. Love it, good idea. I was thinking it before you said it.

omg, so im up to the heel on my first ever sock and its looser than it should be according to your sawk tawk and i was actually contemplating ripping it out because i felt it just wasnt right, as in it looked much larger than it should. However I'm using 2.75 not 2.25 or 2.5 needles and the pattern im using actually calls for 2.75 and according to the pattern i should be casting on 64 stitches but i ended up decreasing 4 on each side to get it down to 56 which seems like a much better fit. The annoying thing I find about ripping it out, is not so much losing the progress, but how frustrating the yarn is to work with afterwards, with it not being as smooth as it was when I first began :/ but also because I thought I was finally getting somewhere with the sock only to find I have to start again, yet again.. sigh... I had tried sock knitting a while back and made it way too big as I was just guessing and had no idea. Will i EVER complete a goddamn sock people!?!?

I'm sitting here knitting a sock on a 9" circ... and of course you pull one out. Too funny! (Though I HATE the addi sock circs... they're an inch shorter than the ciaogoo red lines I use any that inch makes all the difference!)

Hey Girls, I purchased HiyaHiya's 12 in. 2.75 circulars and knit a pair of socks and I am in love...Tried the 9 in. and did not like them at all. The tips of the HiyaHiya 12 in. are twice as long as the 9 in, and they are curved. Other companies make a 12 in. but the tips are not curved which make it impossible to get 60 stitches around...MUST try HiyaHiya 12 in.

Instead if clipping your pattern to the outside of the clear display, you could put the pattern inside then use a dry erase marker to make notes without destroying the pattern.

I love the 3 Color Cashmere Cowl. The colors are great! That blanket would make a great stash buster project. Love the different stitches in the Brickless shawl. I knit in public. At church. I did during class at school. I used to during break at work. At the library. Everywhere! A suggestion for your notes at the bottom of the screen: Contrasting color for the background. After the sweater was taken off, the white letters got a bit lost over the white in the shirt.

+Claudia Bedwell i knit in public too, but would never knit in church....it might not be distracting to me but the people around me would totally watch...i am like one of 3 people who knit in my whole town....they would just think it was blasphemy....we are a southern baptist.... more conservative than most.....but i think its totally cool if you can
