Thank you for your show!!! I love hearing about new yarns and really love hearing about the designers out there. I feel like I have just taken a peek at the top of the iceberg. I am new to upscale knitting but want to learn more. I went and checked out several that you mentioned, oh and Tracie thanks for the idea of taking pictures of what I want to knit, I fell in love with Humulus and will be making it for my daughter for Christmas. Keep knitting...

What about a monthly holiday knit along for 2018. Knit one Christmas present a month. A lot of us feel so overwhelmed waiting until last minute so I understand the stress of it and the “oh squirrel.”
@soulstitcher58466 жыл бұрын
yay..you're back...and with a regular podcast! sorry to hear of your troubles. and just my 2 cents, i know it's easier to do live for you, BUT regular pod's colours are way better and there's "volume"!! maybe just podcast and don't edit is the solution - more fun for us i'm sure =) thanks for giving us a questimate date for pins - i check almost daily to see if you're restocked. have fun in Denver

I've just cast on toe up, 2 at a time socks for magic loop on some needles that I detest. I just put a pair of chioagoo red lace needles in my amazon cart this past week because I fell in love with the one I bought for my scania shawl. Hearing Tracie talk about them has convinced me to hit the checkout button!

@janetpingrey71556 жыл бұрын
I just want to tell you, it's all your fault. I was only looking for a tutorial on a stitch and your podcast was on the menu at the side of youtube and I thought, 'Gee, I wonder what this is.'....and you two were so funny and knowledgeable and funny (did I say that...lol) and then introduced me to other podcasters and they introduced me to other podcasters....I suppose I could have worse addictions than knitting/crocheting podcasts and knitting and crochet projects, because, yes, I had to start replicating....such a snowball effect that blossomed into some sort of yarn avalanche. I had belonged to a knitting group for the short time I lived in Virginia and having all of you guys is like being in that group again. I cast on my first pair of socks...toe up....this morning and am doing the two together on separate needles....I do not want any onesies hanging around (bet they make some interesting pairs). Thanks for setting my creativity/activity on fire again. Love you ladies to the moon and back.

Just am finishing up the gussets then on to the foot - yay! As always, you inspire me! Have fun at Stitches West (15 minutes from my current home, but my husband booked a family vacation). Hi, just finished watching all - somehow the interrupted ones were on youtube too! Sat. AM - coffee and Grocery Girls, working on my Winter Rose sock 1...husband sitting here listening to you too...olympic hockey with the sound off on tv! He's laughing at the golf club remark - I bought 2 interchangeable sets recently. Knitters Pride royalty something...the size 4 snapped in my hand one day - shop gave me a replacement but it was the excuse I needed to buy the HiyaHiya deluxe set. Metal so they won't snap. No new golf clubs have been purchased. Jodi - if you haven't already seen this - Eli, the Skeindeer wears and discusses her Birkin sweater fit in her most recent episode (#60, the chatty one).

Have you thought about a vest or sleeveless garment knit along? Might be less intimidating to newer knitters than a full sweater, and might fit spring summer timelines. Knitters in the mid-lower states might find fibers other than wool excite them for something looks that (you know, cotton, bamboo, silk blends etc), while knitters in upper states and Canada might like light wool blends or other fibers. And of course all could knit for fall or winter wear for later.
