Love the podcast!! Although, I don't know if you've noticed that your sound effects are waaaaaayy louder than your voices and when I turn up the volume to hear you better the sudden sound effects make me almost fall off my chair! That said, I'm loving the podcast so much, you two are so funny and I can't wait to watch more.

Can't wait until Crazy Dog Yarns opens her shop again. We're even in the same city! I've got 'The Vermonter' printed out now and took a good peruse of Susan B's and found the most adorable fairies to knit-up. Thanks for the tips!

I'm knitting the Sail Shawl after seeing Traci wear it in a past episode and love the pattern. And now I have to knit Jodi's shawl for sure, so gorgeous and those colors are to die for. You two are so funny, I wish you were closer to me and we could have a knitting group. I'm pontificating my reality show participation fantasy. But I have to say, you two on the amazing race would be must see tv. xo

I am so glad I wasn't watching this at night because I would get in trouble again. My husband said no more laughing at 2am! I laughed sooooo hard. So I think I need a hearing aid. I was sure you were talking about "no makers yarn" and was trying to look it up. Some how google figured me out and pointed me in the right direction. So now I can check out GNOME ACRES lmao!

Hi! Another great and funny podcast. Thanks for answering my question (its DottyW). It might take me a few weeks (yikes) to get my room organized since every square inch of my 9ft x 8ft room is filled with craft (replace the ft with a p and you get the idea). I will send you a picture when I am through. And thanks, I feel famous now.

I'm not sure if I'm sad that my Gorey Details yarn isn't as saturated as yours and the one Kristin showed, or happy that mine is unique ;-) Actually, I'm sure that I love mine and also want a super saturated one! Actually, I want all your yarns. If you catch a weirdo Texan rummaging through your yarn stash in the middle of the night, it's not me... :-P

This has just officially become my favorite podcast! I laugh so much I'm considering lady diapers. I too think that teenagers are so much fun, even when I used to think I'd have to leave my home when my three kids reached puberty. Not yet there, just one teen and two rearing to go, but I expect plenty of laughs and entertaining moments when we get there.

I am knitting along with you on the shawl KAL. I am to the lace section(band 4) and I am confused. Nothing new. In my defense--I am a fairly new self-taught knitter. When the pattern talks about knitting the middle section as many times as necessary are we talking the 8 stitches only or the (for instance on row three) 3 stitches, 8 stitches, 4 stitches as many times as necessary to fill the center part of the shawl and then the 3 stitches at the end of the row. See...I probably have you confused now. Anyway, she says as she blushes in embarrassment, any help would be appreciated. Thank you, ritzy

Hi there, love the podcast by the way. Maybe the Scottish podcast you mentioned is the Geeky Girls Knit podcast. I'm a fan of their podcast, a mother daughter team of Americans living in Edinburgh Scotland. The mother, CC is also a designer and only just released her first print book of patterns. Check them out:)
