Grocery Haul: Christmas and Regular Shopping

Wjen i am hosting a holiday or other meal, i keep myneyesnopen for sales, coupons, and clearamce months out; one to a few items at a time. Sometime in August/ September i put together a rough menu while continuing to keep my eye open for good to great prices and slowly adding to my party stockpile and firming up the menu.

sometimes facebook marketplace or thrift stores (or even ebay) have lots of yarn very cheap. great if you are just beginning crocheting and don't want too invest much. Loom knitting on a round loom is very easy to start with and you can make a hat pretty quickly.

I hadn’t even thought of marketplace or thrift stores. Thank you for those suggestions! I definitely don’t want to invest too much money since I’m hoping this will be a low cost hobby. I’ll check out the loom idea, it’d be fun to learn how to make a hat. 😃
