Love the fruit and veggie haul. Never sit anything on your banana 🍌 you bruise them easily and they will turn faster.

Believe it or not, food is so cheap where you are compared to my country. Food in general is 2 to 3 times more expensive here. The pack of capsicums (bell peppers) you showed is the price we pay for 1 capsicum. We also don't have so much plastic. I have reusable mesh bags for all fruits and vegetables. Some supermarkets will have brown paper bags that you have to buy. You always seem to get a lot of fruits and vegetables for your family than a lot of family vloggers do. That is something you should be proud of. It's awesome that you are now thinking about making your own tortillas and mozzarella cheese. Talking about and starting to make small changes is the best way to do it without getting overwhelmed. I feel like I have two ways of producing most meals. I just have myself and two one year old cavoodle puppies to feed but when my parents were alive and I was cooking for them because I love to cook, my Dad couldn't cook a lot and my mum didn't find it fun. I'm terminally ill so there have been times I have to be realistic about what I can and can't do. For example if they ask for macaroni and cheese when I'm not feeling the best I will use the packs where you have quick cook macaroni and a cheese powder sachet that takes a few minutes in the microwave. I'll then put it into a deep oven dish, sprinkle on already grated cheese and store bought breadcrumbs. Put it under the grill until it's crispy. If I was feeling okay I would make a roux adding in two types of cheese that I grate. While it's thickening I boil normal macaroni pasta. Before I start the process I will grate the cheese measuring enough of each kind to have enough to put into the sauce and enough melting cheese to go on top. I toast sesame seeds in a frying pan. Then I will use a couple of pieces of bread into the toaster until it's dry but without too much colour. I would use a fine grater to result in coarse breadcrumbs or I'll use my stick blender to make a finer crumb depending on what people prefer. I add the crumbs into the pan that I've used to toast the sesame seeds and bring it together with a small amount of butter or that can be left out if the diners are watching their figures. When I've combined the cheese sauce and the macaroni I'll put it into individual oven safe dishes finished off with the melting grated cheese and then the breadcrumbs. This is where you can change things to suit the dinners taste for example just putting the breadcrumbs on without the extra cheese. My Dad liked the addition of ham sandwich meat and mum liked a couple of slices of tomato. If you give everyone the same to streamline it then I'd just put it together in one deep dish in the oven.

I kept thinking, "I hope those bananas don't get smooshed." 🫣Your kiddos are gonna be thrilled with all the fruit options. If you try to make cheese, please vlog it so we can see how it's done. I love your videos, so please keep them coming. ❤

I usually get my cabbage on how it feels and looks. For some reason a lot of people take the dark green leaves off but I don't know why because they taste good. My Mama used to get the leaves they took off 😂

When the pineapple is fully ripe is when they turn yellow
@debhickey33493 ай бұрын
@@BooopXyou can also tell if they are ripe if you can easily pull one of the leaves from the top of the pineapple with little resistance.
