Thank you for all of this information! THIS is exactly what we need to see, the quirks and tricks of everyday life in Panama! I’ve watched countless other shopping videos but none have been this informative! How about others like: navigating the bus? The metro? Ways to bank/ pay rent/etc? Shipping/getting a mailbox? Thank you so much!

normal supermarkes do not sell un bulk, but you can go to pricesmart which is costco and buy in bulk, there are few supermarkets where you can ask to buy the whole box but it will be more expensive, if you wanna buy in bulk is pricesmart which is costco

You're right, that's a good point, especially for those looking for bulk deals. Thanks for sharing!

Hello, as a tourist, what ID do I show to shop in the grocery stores? TIA
@choosepanama16 күн бұрын
You will show any government ID... either your passport or your drivers license.

Is this true throughout Panama? David? Boqueste? Volcan?
@choosepanama27 күн бұрын
Great question! While the specific experiences can vary, many aspects are generally true across Panama.

Hello. Would you happen to know if they have a gluten free section or items?
@choosepanamaАй бұрын
Yes they do! Some of the bigger grocery stores have quite a bit of gluten free. Plus there are organic stores here as well.

Where do you live in Panama with that nice view?
@choosepanama24 күн бұрын
Panama has over 1500 miles of coast line, so there are amazing views all over the country, and most of the options are quite affordable!

@choosepanama As a former Zonian, I know that, but I don't recognize those islands.
@choosepanama19 күн бұрын
Ahhh, this is Playa Bonita, the former Kobbe Beach.
@victortoombs475418 күн бұрын
@choosepanama Okay. I used to swim there occasionally at the beach when I was a kid. Not as much as I swam at Amador Beach, though. I used to live in Balboa Heights up by the old administration building and walk through it twice a day as I went to and came from Balboa High School.

I noticed a lady with one leg and no arms 2:41. Do they have handicap carts? Good grief, I don't know how she's shopping.
@choosepanama24 күн бұрын
Great eyes! But actually, if you look closely, she is resting her right leg on the bottom rung of the cart. (You can see her tennis shoe.) And her left arm is on the cart. At first glance, it looks like she's missing her limbs, but they are all there!

@choosepanama Oh good! But...do they have handicap carts?
