Buckwheat and Kefir are common in stores, and I live in a pretty rural place. That cheese candy bar looks good. Sunflower seeds in the shell have been common in USA for decades. They are great for long truck drives you can spit the shells out your window on the car tailgating you. I love creme soda you have awesome taste. Stay safe and healthy guys.

We have all the shells of sunflower seeds near apartment blocks where benches are😂 People sit there in the evening, talk and spit the shells around. Stay safe too! All the best :) Katya

Kefir is becoming more common in United Kindgom supermarkets the last 3 or 4 years. If you can't find it you can experiment making Iranian doogh, yogurt with sparkling water and a small amount of salt. If you need more acidity, use very carbonated water. Different yogurts make different taste (mainly because of fat content I think)

Interesting why just 3 or 4 years of growing popularity:) maybe restaurants Mari Vanna brought love to russian cuisine to UK. And I’ve noticed that in the East there are many versions of kefir: ayran in Turkey or doogh in Iran.

I should say that I am a bit disappointed,that you did not show Снежок 😁 It was my favourite drink in Russia. And I never could find anything similar here. We have Кефир here in Germany too, it is also considered really healthy. Ряженка you can also find sometimes in the international aisle in stores here. About the washed food: I bought it sometimes when I was in a hurry and my russian friends scolded me for it, hahaha 🤣 Except for potatoes here in Germany everything is already cleaned, that's true. I never really thought about it before I went to Russia.

I adore снежок too! Cause it’s sweet kefir and nothing can taste better :) And the name sounds so sweet 😂 I’ve noticed that unwashed vegetables last longer, so it’s not only cheaper but also practical 👍

Привет из Финляндии You can find Kefir in Finland and Sweden. Do not know about the other Scandinavian countries. And I also prefer unwashed root vegetables. p.s. Я люблю Москву. Я жил и работал там (Я финн)

0:35 all these videos are from the 80s and 90s when soviet union was destroyed and later on legally declared as non-existant,ALL OF THESE VIDEOS ARE FROM CAPITALIST RUSSIA. They represent capitalism.Because as soon as economy falls or war begins it will be just the same because a capitalist system isn't ready to support 3 day starvation.3 days on not producing and all capitalist country food will run out. This wasn't the case in soviet times because 1. more people were producing/smaller farms 2.majority had their own gardens. Now all food production is down to max 10 companies and when they go down gov doesn't have a right to force them to produce.
@NIKITAKATIA3 жыл бұрын
That's a very good point, people really need to think about how production is managed ( so much waisted food and goods just because it's overproduced) and almost no local farming left :(
