The Russian people are a sturdy and hard working people. It warms my heart to see a growing middle class do to government policies.

Thank you, this is soo interesting to see (I‘m not through with it yet)! Is it normal for grocery stores to be so big in Russian cities or is this one of the rather big ones? I know stores like this in Bosnia but there‘s lots of small ones and some of these big ones, so the usual grocery store isn‘t this big. We don‘t have anything like this in Austria - there‘s „Interspar“ but you can‘t compare its product range to the one of these big stores in Bosnia or this one you showed. I love this concept of going to one grocery store that just carries absolutely everything. Saves a lot of time :)

This one is so called hypermarket. Biggest type of shops except for the wholesale markets. They are usually inside a huge mall or standalone buildings that have a lot of small stalls inside. But compared to the amount of smaller supermarkets they are very rare. In particular ЛЕНТА itself have 3 types of shops: hypermarket, supermarket and mini. But the latter two is less common since company was originally hypermarket's only.

I'm curious, how much approximately does red meat cost there in Russia in US dollars? Here in the USA the cost of red meat ranges from $10-20 US dollars for one pound. Expensive meat cost even more. Eggs too, how much are eggs? I paid over $7 US dollars for one dozen eggs. What a ripoff!
