Have you had bad experiences or regrets with any of these items?

A friend and I decided to hit the Whole Foods hot bar one day while shopping. That was our first and last time. Two plates of food (one for her, one for me) and a drink for each of us was over $30. Ridiculous. We could have gone to a decent sit-down restaurant and had a better meal.

Our local Co-Op here in Saskatchewan started making in house fried chicken along with their famour rotisari chicken and the fact you can watch them hand bred and fry is awesome and the price is excellent considering the quality, which is super good and all local. (3 dark meat pieces and 4 big potatoes wedges for 6 bucks is not bad at all) and you are supporting local business and local jobs in a small town!

don't store batteries in your freezer or frig as either way can expose them to moisture/condensation that shortens their life - store them in a cool dry place in a room in your home - google proper way of storing them

There are tons of good tips in here and if people can do them great. However, The reason for most of these is convenience and depending on the situation it can be worth it. Example single serve snacks you can buy the family size as a single person but you run the risk of having it go stale before you eat it all. You could go to walmart it is cheaper but if you need two things and it is across the town not worth the savings. precut vegetables if you are in a rush and want a quick snack that can be worth it. Also, if you are living paycheck to paycheck it is better for you to buy the smaller size because that is what you can afford until you get paid again.

You be surprised, some things are priced reasonably. I buy some whole food brand things and i get more produce from there.

You can save even more money on diapers if you use cloth diapers instead, and they don't go to the landfill. Takes more effort since you have to wash them, of course.

Pre-cut potatoes : For your incarcerated, hard to buy for loved one. Seriously? There's more than one Market that sells pre-cut potatoes? Good, Bad, or Unnecessary - you learn something new every day.

Precut fruits and vegetables... Well, they're a necessary evil. They're a godsend to the elderly with arthritis, but there is a labor cost involved. So, avoid if you're able bodied, unless you're willing to part with your money to buy time.

Ware I live in Canada the water from the tap is better and cleaner then bottled water. I use to work at a grocery store and the water people would get from our machine was just tap water. I guess it is true that a fool and their money are soon parted.

Who would buy food at a hot bar, with questionable food and people, and supermarkets shouldn't raise prices. And why the hell cut veggies and fruit are ten times more expensive than uncut lol.

About the diapers it all depends on the baby's sensitivity of skin. My kids would get frequent rashes with Huggies compared to pampers and I didn't want to run the risk of my kids bottoms rashing with other brands

I watched the whole video- never did learn how to save THOUSANDS ( yes the lady uses an “S” as in plural) at the grocery store. I must be living in cave man times: I was unaware that the average human being is spending THOUSANDS a year on groceries

If people don't know this by now they either don't know how to shop or do math or they just don't care and pay the price.
