Gary, as a transplant from Winnebago to Montana 20 years ago, I sure like seeing you buy. I remember as a younger man, I sold in Pecatonica, I used to sell to Walley from GFW. Super nice guy and he taught me a lot about fur handling. I appreciate your boldness in talking about your faith. Do you folks buy fur from Montana if I bring them back in June? Keep up the videos.

I understand I am glad there doing what there doing. It just gets frustrating after you lived through the fur boom and got to see the good times and now it's gone never to be seen again. at least not in my life time not only the prices but the amount of fur there was then it was just unbelievable. Thank you God our father for allowing me the opportunity to live it.

I saw that big bunch of finished raccoon and felt bad for the guy. He put in so much work to scrape and dry them, but the way he stretched them was not in his favor. Poorly cut or no inspection windows, hips way higher on the edges than the base of the tails, front legs left long. Little changes to the put-up would help the price, but, honestly, only a little in today’s market. Raccoon are simply low priced for the foreseeable future.

Hell it isn't worth trapping! all that work for nothing .I agree that it's fun and it feels like your accomplishing something that should be valued more. Hell it will cost you way more in time and fuel than you will ever make. It will literally cost you money to trap. your paying them to take your fur you work so hard to make nice and they still demand you to do it better for them so they make the little money that's left in it. Pay you nothing and because they buy it in such quantity they make the only money in it. Very disappointing you all can have it!

Trappers know before the season what furs will be worth. Some ppl just love to do it regardless of low prices.

I really like your videos as I have gain a lot of knowledge on fur, however I don't believe in God or religion as I feel its the biggest fraud ever pulled on the world. Millions of people blindly following like sheep without a single shred of evidence. I do respect people rights and freedom to believe however they like just don't push it on me.
