Photogromer Just in case you are still fighting those tools for removing clutch pack etc. Let me try to explain what the problem is. The extension you are using has a rounded end on it where it goes into that special socket. So it is barely catching the sides of the socket. Since the clearance is limited in there. That rounded tip holds the extension too far out and does not have much of a surface to hold. You can do 2 things. 1. Cut the rounded tip of the extension off making it perfectly flat. This allows for it to recess as far as it can with flat sides touching inside the socket. This is the simplest thing to do. 2. Hit up some pawn shops and find an extension like "proto" or something that is already flat on the tip of it. They are normally black impact extensions. I dont own a grom yet. Been looking around for a deal on one. However, I have been doing mechanic work my whole life. And this is a fairly common issue sometimes when working on cars and equipment.

Don't use a screwdriver, just use a rag between the gears. It won't damage anything and lock the whole engine

Haha thanks for shout! My boy tagged me in this and told me I finally achieved something in life😅 lol. I have a trick to stop that flywheel... hold the bike level and then open the right side inspection cover where u set your cam timing! Have someone hold that with a socket and then you can tighten that bolt without the flywheel spinning! Lol so funny I also had to do the same for my pressure plate! Not trust a torque wrench and cross my fingers! Broke two as well that shit sucked

wrong tool for the job. The correct tool for the spinner and clutch nut is deep socket version made by MiniMoto from WeBike. To prevent the spinner from spinning use a flywheel holder (two versions) one holds from the outside and the other uses those pin holes or use the gear mesh that locks the drive and driven gear together.
