I like to think that when Snorri chugged the whole barrel of wine and all the elves were shocked that we just suddenly hear laughing. And it's Malekith who goes over to Snorri, still laughing, and congratulates his friend.

I have a feeling that when you negotiate in warhammer 2 as dwarfs you just bring a keg of rum, get really leathered, and then you just say Grombrindal: “so do you wanna smash some pointy heads?” Mazdamundi the Most Rare of all Pepes: “inaudible sounds” Grombrindal: “ok, let me get me hammer” I mean I never knew toads love rum.

grombrindal is awesome. he was a great addition to the game and is a great piece of lore for them overall. now we just need gotrek and we have the two strongest and most well known/liked of the dwarfs will be in the game.

Kind of annoying that they try to say it "devastated" the dwarven infrastructure? Did they lose a single Karak? The elfs lost every city in the old world and the dwarfs looted them. The Dwarfs lost not a single Karak, their true homes.

Dwarfurious well war is never good for infrastructure but yeah I guess elven settlements are way easier to destroy than Karaks.

The elves in warhammer are not immortals... they are the longest living race, yes... but they do die of old age... some of them are immortal... but that is something done with magic...

don't remember them giving us a number... but if we go after how long the Eldars of warhammer 40000 can live... then they can get up to about 10000yers... if you look up the Phoenix King Caradryel... then it says that he was the first Phoenix King to die peacefully in his bed... but mostly I think it is a case of them getting to an age the writers of a story wants them to be...

The Inept General it's never explicitly stated however you might want to check the reigns of the phoenix kings. exactly ONE of them in history, I think the scholar king, has the honour of being the only phoenix king to die purely of old age. their lifespan can stretch to millennium however.

Just a note on the beast men. Unless they have retconned things to make it less r-rated, beast men are known as the children of slaanesh, dark God of perversion for very good reason.: "Without his intervention, they could not be born". Where do you think his starting position in mortal empires should be with the idea that he is coming back with a grudge against the Dark Elfs? Also is his grudge against all elfs including the wood elfs and the lady of the lake factions? I'm asking because I find a bit of fun role playing the faction leader point of view when it comes to faction diplomacy.

For the second Total War: Warhammer do you have any idea/ can make a reasonable guess at how they'll work the factions? I know that it's supposed to focus on High Elves, Dark Elves and Lizardmen but would the Dwarves be available as like an expedition or something? Could it be something of just an addition to the map from the first?

Yeah I think data mining from the russian leak showed that the game was set up so that additional areas of the map can be added so high elf, dark elves and lizard men land masses will just be added to the world we already have. Suggesting all dlc and factions will carry forward too.

Gotrek Gurnisson my bad,the high king during the war of vengeance(the beard) was called Gotrek Starbreaker,he killed the high elf Phoenix king Caledor II and the slayer one is called Gotrek Gurnisson

Marky Mark & Mary May and how were they to expect the druchii? To the dawi malekith and his people were the bro-est of all pointy eared bros. Why would they expect that snorris best friend was responsible for it? Especially given that the phoenix king acted like an arrogant prick and ignored or insulted the dwarves sent to resolve it peacefully. The elves haven't even officially told ANYONE the druchii are a thing yet, it's been over 3000 years and yet they never offered an official statement to say "hey guys it's not us murdering all of you"
