Wallace maybe an idiot but he’s Gromit’s idiot he loves Wallace and he won’t let anything happen to him. He took a bullet for him saved his Master’s life. Wallace did the same thing he saved Gromit’s life at the cost of his own life. Love & friendship combined.

Hey, here's a hot one. Imagine if Max and Ruby had a film series with the same action-adventure plots as Wallace and Gromit. Ruby (voiced by Samantha Morton) would be the oblivious yet warm hearted adventurer, and Max would be the mute, intelligent sidekick who has to save Ruby's tail every time something dangerous happens. How's that sound?

For instance, in an adaptation of Sarah: The Seventh Match, Max and Ruby would be working as secret agents investigating a war in Israel led by General Ross and his chuckling dog Atilla(from Los Trotamusicos). The two rabbits would befriend in orphaned girl named Sarah, whose parents and grandmother were snatched by Ross' soldiers. The two rabbits would live double lives, one with them masquerading as soldiers for Ross, the other with them helping Sarah live in the forest. After Sarah destroys a bridge used for war supplies, Ross discovers the rabbits' true identity and lock them up. They escape and by the time Sarah is cornered, Ruby confronts Ross, whilst Atilla chases Max back to the army grounds, where Max hijacks a green helicopter. Ruby is subdued by Ross' two soldiers while Ross pursues Sarah on foot. Max tries to pursue them, but is himself chased by Atilla driving a black jet in a scene similar to the dogfight between Snoopy and the red baron(The Peanuts Movie). By the time Ruby catches up with Ross and fights him, Atilla jumps in Max's helicopter after his jet explodes on a rocky hill wall. Max puts the helicopter on autopilot, and a fistfight ensues in which Max and Atilla clobber each other before Max punches the dog out of the helicopter, leaving them hanging on a rope in a scene similar to Chicken Run. Atilla falls to the ground after Max tricks him into cutting the rope with a cleaver. Even though Ruby successfully defeats Ross in the fight, Ross grabs a hatchet is about to kill Ruby and Sarah, only for Max to arrive in the helicopter. Max jumps out in time and the helicopter rams into Ross, sending both plunging off a cliff where Ross is killed by the fall, and the exploding helicopter. The government would then arrive and all of Ross' men would be arrested and the prisoners freed, and Max and Ruby would go home after a heartfelt goodbye to Sarah, who is reunited with her mother and grandmother. That would make a pretty good story in my opinion. As long as you keep the dark tone of The Seventh Match and mix it with the light heart of Max and Ruby, it might've worked out.

I mean, someone's trying to kill Gromit whilst he's teetering on the edge of falling while sitting in a defenceless position compared to the one swinging the shovel, all the while his best friend is being hunted by the owner of the dog trying to kill him. Fear would be a reasonable reaction given the circumstances
